Would it be too strong if Patron added 1 to any number on a card?
I'm thinking about Cellar, Storeroom, Throne room/KC but I may forget about other cards that might make it overpowered.
I would argue "twice" isn't a number.
Right but that only applies to Throne Room. Also, I would take issue with any card that means that Throne Room works differently because it says "play it twice" than it would if Donald had happened to go with "play it two times".
Reminds me of the Fluxx cards "Hand limit 0" and "x=x+1" (later renamed to Inflation I think?). x=x+1 says to add one to any numerals (but not spelled out numbers) on cards. Other hand limit cards basically say "if it isn't your turn, you can't have more than 2 cards in your hand." So they get increased by 1. But hand limit 0 says "if it isn't your turn, you can't have any cards in your hand." So it technically wouldn't get increased. But of course this wasn't the intention of the card, so I do believe it's been clarified that hand limit 0 does indeed become 1.
