Perfect hand Hearthstone: impromptu forum game.

You have some sort of ladder legal deck from after TGT.  The front faces of your cards don't have characteristics until you need for them too, and when they do, you choose the characteristics.

You choose the random outcomes of your own cards.

I'm not try-harding such that I have a specific OTK planned out, but I'll go first as Valeera and drop a zombie chow.  The rope is burning.  Anyone can pick up and play turn 2.

End of T1:

FOE:
Hand: 4+Coin
Life: 30 + 0
Deck: 26
Board: None

POPS:
Hand: 3
Life: 30 + 0
Deck: 26
Board: Zombie Chow.

Jaina.

I play Mana Wyrm, the Coin, then Mirror Image.  MW is now 3/3, and I have two 0/2 Taunts on the board.

Valeera can also draw a Sorcerer's Apprentice and an Unstable Portal if Burgle won't actually give 2 of the same card when implemented.

Wanna finish out the game with less shenanigans, or try to see what shenanigans another pair of classes pulls, or try the thought exercise without awesome random outcomes?

Huh? No, you won. Not sure who would be offended.

I thought this was a thing where people just randomly took turns as they fancied, like a communal chess game.

Also, e4.

I'm not sure that, even if I tried, I could construct a _less_ legal move. My favorite part is that you assume that's mate, when ...Kxd8. :p

Qxe1?!

I would argue that Qxe1 is only illegal for 1 reason (it's a piece you can't take), whereas Qxe8 is illegal for 3 reasons (it's a piece you can't take, it's a movement the Queen can't make, and there are pieces in the way).

I think it's now obvious that I don't play chess.

(Queen trade to deny castling is definitely a reasonable option, right?)

Bloodsail Raider doesn't work with Warsong Commander, so Edwin -shouldn't-.  However, Faceless used to always be a 2/2 when it copied Edwin, and if that was fixed with spaghetti code edwin might gain charge anyway.

Why wouldn't Edwin get Charge?

Because Bloodsail Raider doesn't (even though it doesn't make any sense).

Because Blizzard wanted to nerf Bloodsail Raider like they nerfed Molten Giant.  It's rather clear that you summoned a 2/3 minion that soon later became 9/3, but Blizz switched over to a "different interpretation" (deliberately misinterpretation of their own text) quietly on GvG release, without making patch note about it.  Probably scared Bloodsail Raider combo would be playable.

They used the same assinine trick with Water Elemental during closed beta, calling their own balance change a bugfix to avoid having to justify a balance change.  Water Elemental used to not freeze a character that had sufficient armor to block the damage, which matches the behavior between Water Elemental and Divine Shield and is suggested to be the concept of what hero damage is by Molten Giant's text.  That was definitely a good balance change unlike the raider change, but they ought to own up to things when they change them and not pretend they're fixing a bug to evade criticism of their design choices.
