The Golden Rule
Please note that what you are playing is a a form of play or sport, usually undertaken for enjoyment. In sort, what you are playing is a game. Unless you are Kiefer Sutherland or Samuel Jackson, no one should be pointing fingers, getting angry, or in general dropping out of the game. Just sit tight, type a lot, and have fun!

The Civility Pledge before signing up for any mafia game on this site. If you have not /pledged there, you may not play on this Mafia game, or any other.
Excessive and systemic breaking of the Golden Rule after warnings are issued will be dealt with by whatever the situation calls for, including being modkilled.
General Rules
1. Don’t talk about this game outside of what is allowed, which is potential QTs and the thread itself. No PMs, Skype, etc. Obviously once the game is over, you can ignore this rule.
2. If the thread is locked, don’t post until it is unlocked again.
3. Don’t quote what the mod tells you directly in QTs or PMs. You are allowed to say what is decreed in your own words.
4. If in doubt, the order of Night actions will always defer to town actions beforehand, third party afterwards, and then finally scum. In the cases of two conflicting town/scum/3rd party actions, which command was sent first will happen first.
5. All night actions must be submitted within 24 hours of day ending. If you get drunk, forget and post a minute after the deadline, sorry.
6. Players must post once every 24 hours. If you do not post and it gets to the point where it’s hindering the game, the players may request a replacement.
7. Don’t post in weird ways that might hinder or obstruct anything that is said. This includes tiny text and spoiler tags. If in doubt, don’t do it. And for God’s sake, this isn’t Spy Kids. Don’t try and be a badass spy and use codes and cryptography. It ruins the integrity of the game and will be severely punished.
8. If someone gets lynched, the thread isn’t immediately locked. All parties may continue to communicate until the thread it locked.
9. Once the thread is locked and the death is officially reported, that player may not post again in the thread or QT (unless stated otherwise) until the game is over.
Voting Rules
1. Votes should be in this format: Vote: Playername. Only exact names or reasonable nicknames that actually shorten the amount of typing will be counted. If you miss a colon or don’t spell correctly, it will not be counted. If you are voting, bold the vote. Otherwise, it will not be counted.
2. Unvotes should be in this format: unvote or Unvote: Playername, and must be bolded.
3. Unvotes are not required if changing your vote from one player to another.
4. You are allowed to vote for a no lynch like so: Vote: No Lynch.
5. When a majority vote on a person is reached (rounded up), that person is a goner.
6. If someone is not lynched as per last rule by the deadline, no lynch will occur and everybody will be happy until the storm clouds of night approach.
The Rest
1. Bold red text belongs to the Mods. Players may not use it.
2. If there is a problem a problem, send me a PM. Please don’t say anything about it in the thread.
3. Screw-ups happen. If you think there is one, PM it to me. I’ll get right on it.
4. If I screw up in a game-breaking way, I will decide what to do, which may include calling the entire game off.
5. Basically, ask me anything you need to know via PM, be it roles or anything else. If it’s general rules questions, you can even post it in the thread.
6. Though covered before, it’s worth mentioning again. If a player does not post after 24 hours, players may request a prod, done in the same way as a vote, in bold. If a player does not respond within 24 hours of a prod, the other players may request a replacement. If no replacement is found, the player may be modkilled.
7. All final punishments in-game will be dealt with by me in whatever I see necessary.
