So I just noticed that the grid is 12 rows and not 11. The fix for this is to remove row 8, but I don't want to just do that, I think AHoppy should check.

If we used that idea here, we can just assign random moves to Mcmc until he posts in this thread and not have to wait a day or more each time.

At this rate, we'd cut the challenge in half.

Well, I think that we could have a rule like "if you didn't make a move on your turn, you have until your next turn or at least another 24 hours after the random move was made for you to post in your confessional or in the thread that you're still playing or a random move can be made for you as soon as it is your turn (but not before 24 hours have passed after the last random move for you)" if it doesn't cause too much work/tracking for AHoppy. That would be pretty fair IMO, and I don't really see any particular problems that it would cause. That way, we could pretty much keep playing at our natural rate, but mcmc could step in as soon as he's present.
