Dear Dominion friends,

18th of May is the birthday of the Dominion League. In order to celebrate we'll throw a little party right after the championship match on Sunday.
You are all invited to join us. It's going to be a mini-tournament organized by the new & extended league organization. We will be playing two player dominion games on a mix of the top boards from the Kingdom Design Contest and the honorable mentions. The tournament will be approximately two hours long, which is far too short to select a fair winner, but plenty of time to have fun playing some great boards.

Sunday 17th of May, approximately 21:00 UTC (but it will be the 18th of May in Asia )
You can sign up during the champion ship match in the twitch chat, which will start at 19:00 UTC.
More details will follow on the day itself.

Congrats to MicQsenoch who won, and congrats to Pubby who did remarkably well. He beat a number of top-ranked opponents, Mic being one of his victims.

I really liked this tournament format. A lot of focus on people playing as many games as we can get in, with all fun kingdoms. People also can come and go whenever they want. Not the best format to select a fair winner but so be it. If we do it again I would want to automate some of the things I did by hand this time, but that's totally fine. And maybe you want to do a (semi)finals match at some point, although the tournament would probably have to be bigger/longer to facilitate that. We'll see.

Great format. This would be a really cool way to seed a short term elimination tournament as well. Top 4 advance to traditional semis and finals after a 2 hour qualifying period.

This was my submission, but I forgot to include the 10th card, which was supposed to be Tactician. The Kingdom generator automatically fills in the 10th card, so I am glad that whoever playtested got a good tenth card. Hope no one who played had the 10th card be an easy source of +buy, the difficulty of +buy makes this Kingdom interesting.

This was my favorite board! My game with Chris, posted below, had bandit camp as the 10th card. It was useful but not a huge change. Really enjoyed using mine as a gold gainer to gain duchies with stonemason.

I can't believe that my Kingdoms 3 and 10 made it in! Shame that the Stonemason/Market Square board choked, but you can't have everything.

I see that in the only log for kingdom 10, there was a sort of Rebuild mirror. No surprise, given Duke. Still, I aimed to build a board where Rebuild in an engine would be hypothetically possible. Did I succeed? Is a Double-Tac viable here with the various supports, or is it a lost cause?

I got lazy and went for Rebuild Tunnel. Take out tunnel, and I think this leans towards the engine, although the "engine" may just be Count/Duchy/Duke/Tact
