What is your favorite new card from Adventures?

Just what the title says - we've all had some time to look at the cards, so which one is your favorite so far?

I didn't add Events because a 50 choice poll would just be silly.  I'll probably make an Events poll later.

I, uh, have to narrow it down to one... This may take a while.

I agree with enfy. I don't like I can narrow it down to one, especially since I haven't actually played with the cards yet.
Why is it a private poll?

Edit: Maybe I could vote if I could change my vote often...

Since I already love Island far too much, my vote goes to Distant Lands.

It's a tossup between Peasant, Ranger, and Treasure Trove for me. If I had to pick one on the spot I'd probably go with Peasant. I also really like Page, but I'll have to see how rage-inducing it is to play with before I decide if it's a favorite.

Even though I haven't played Adventures yet, I really like Magpie and Lost City. Ended up voting for the latter though, a village/laboratory is something I could really use.

Because you are essentially choosing what is missing from your hand and adding that missing piece, I love the power of Transmogrify.  Turns ordinary hands into great ones.  Late in the game, turns $4 Actions into Duchies.

You know, with all the emphasis on "Action card" being present on so many Adventures cards, I totally overlooked the fact that Transmogrify doesn't care what kind of card it is.

I'm not sure yet. I need to play more games but my guess is that one of the events is my favorite.

I really like the Peasant line because being able to add any vanilla bonus to any Action card is just fun (Disciple and Fugitive are fun cards, too, which I kind of wish could be normal Kingdom cards).  This is probably my favorite expansion; lots of interesting new mechanics.

I'm still trying to decide between Magpie, the Peasant line, and Transmogrify. (I also liked Transmogrify in PK Cards, so there's that...)

I don't feel that I can choose one specific card without having played with them first. I should receive my copy of Adventures this coming week.  But if I chose a specific group of cards, it would be Reserves. I am looking forward to the challenge of setting up a deck that will utilize them most efficiently based on what other cards are available in the kingdom.

Once I have played with them, I will get back to you with my card choice.

I still need to play with these a lot more to commit, but here are a few (but not all!) of my favorites so far. While the powerful, expensive cards are great, I'm enjoying the subtle utility of the cheaper stuff.

Port - I did not expect this to be as good as it is, but Port is fantastic. Getting all of the Actions you need is just so fast with Port. A lot of the penalty of playing an engine versus Big Money is in how much time you have to devote to picking up pieces, particularly before you get +Buy. Not only do you get Ports twice as fast, but it enables you to start stringing other pieces together in order to get to your other buys faster. So simple, but so effective.

Coin of the Realm - It's not that Coin of the Realm is extremely strong, but that with minimal investment in one or two of these, you have a huge safety net for a deck drawing engine. That alone is cool but I think where it really shines is big money. Why? Two reasons - the impact of a Copper is lower, and it lets you add several more terminal actions to a BM deck and string them together on an as needed basis. Plus you only commit to using it after you draw your cards if you're playing terminal draw!

Gear - The potential of Gear is absolutely enormous. It's almost Scheme like in how it prepares you for your next turn. It's everything Haven ever wanted to be and more - and at worst, it's a +2 Cards that lets you set aside terminals for next turn. Gear is so, so, so good.

Would be interesting to do this pool again, after some times we have played with adventures (after they will be on goko, assuming that they will be).

For the moment I think my favourites are Transmogrify, Distant lands, Artificer and Coin of the realm. I voted for Transmogrify.

I haven't had a chance to play yet, but I think Transmogrify will just be heaps of fun.
Great engine enabler and a nice insurance policy against terminal collision.

Honourable mention to Guide, which tackles the same problem of drawing a useless hand in a slightly less subtle way.

I love the Journey token! It allows a card to be overpowered in a much more neat way than the travellers, imo. Pilgrimage well used is so w-o-w, and the fact that it's still balanced is amazing.
