I never thought of this before. What is that guy doing? Is he going to attack the trading post? Rob it? Could be a guard, but he's eyeing the encampment pretty suspiciously with his hand on his sword hilt...

As much as I want to believe this, I sense malicious intent by the way he is holding his sword. Envoy looks the most like a guy sent grocery shopping for the first time. He even has the grocery list with him.

I go grocery shopping for my family to pay for my car insurance, and my mom asked me to get some the other day... It was really awkward...

I don't get the whole thing where guys feel awkward buying feminine hygiene products for their girlfriends/family members/etc. The cashier probably realizes that you're buying it for someone else, guys.

I usually don't feel awkward, just nervous. Nervous that I'm getting the wrong thing or that I'm not even close to being right. Nervous that I'm spending $10+ on something that could not only be completely worthless because it's so much the wrong thing, but could end up losing me boy points when the whole point of me getting these products without her presence to guide me was to gain boy points.

I don't care for the cashier, but it's inspecting everything there to make sure I'm getting the right thing is what feels awkward.

Yeah, that and buying condoms. I don't understand why anyone would ever be embarrassed buying condoms. If anything it should be the opposite. You basically get to brag to the cashier that you're having sex tonight without even saying a word.
