The cardstock I definitely noticed.  But did anyone else notice the corners weren't as consistent either?  Some of mine aren't nicely rounded and have more pointy bits on them.  I didn't notice any off center backs though (but I wasn't inspecting those carefully...)

Wow! I just read this review on Amazon. Apparently, someone hates the tokens so much it makes playing this expansion unbearable. I don't really see what the tokens have to do with playing with the kingdom cards, but okay. The reviewer acts like the quality of tokens is the end of the world or something.  http://www.amazon.com/review/R8FISDSTBW33D/ref=cm_cr_dp_title?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00TF7YMVW&channel=detail-glance&nodeID=165793011&store=toys-and-games

I...don't get the complaints about the tokens? They're thick, they're colorful, they're the best (physical) part.

If I strained for something to dislike, the trashing token is really dark and the image hard to see, but that's really being critical for the sake of being critical.

I just received and opened mine last night.  I thought I noticed this, but I don't own any other physical sets to compare them to.  Also, the cut of the cards seemed off, as there was some white residue on the edges. (Like, shavings from the cutter, or something?)

He's just spoiled from the fancy metal coins instead of cardboard from the earlier expansions???

I don't know. Cardboard tokens are pretty standard in games. Haters gonna hate.

URGENT: The Adventures box is not glossy! DO NOT GET IT WET
Well, Hasbro must have promised a really great price for printing & distribution if this is the case.
Or, another possibility, they just did this without telling RGG, who sure did not want any drop of quality relative to previous releases, who even tested Hasbro out by having them print promos to make sure no-one found any issues with the cards.

I'm sorry to hear that Hasbro screwed you guys over like this.  Because I totally needed another reason to dislike Hasbro; the four or five reasons I already had weren't enough, apparently.

What reasons do you dislike Hasbro for?

I was not too thrilled when Temporum was 5 months late. [Along with Rattlebones and Roll for the Galaxy.]

My open copy does not have miscut cards; Jay checked some of his and didn't see the problem either. We won't know if it affects many people until more people report in.

Jay wants to remind people that they can contact him for replacements.

It looks like I will have to be doing that, unfortunately. Just got it today, and one of my decks was completely miscut.

Here are some Distant Lands (but bonus: I got a total of eleven!)

...and the whole deck is basically like that. (This was the Distant Lands -> last 6 Dungeons deck; the others are fine.) I didn't realize the backs were messed up until I had sleeved them.

I haven't played any games with it yet, but my box seems fine.  I looked at some of the backs and don't see any errors, and I can't see anything else wrong.

Actually, I do; one was mixed in with the Ports. Good call.

Just to throw some good news out there, my set seems fine.

I have some cosmetic issues, but they're not preventing me from enjoying the new cards/Events/tokens, so nbd. Sorry to those with miscuts. :/

Okay, so I just got my physical copy and all I have to say is that Hasbro f'd upped BIG TIME! I mean really big. The cards are noticeably thinner and feel much different. That's the biggest thing. Then, the rulebook. It's all blurry and pixelated. And, it seems to be of lower quality paper than the previous rule books. It's a step down. Actually, everything is a step down. The box lacks the waxy feel so feels very different from the other boxes. I am a very tactile person so this really stands out to me. The tokens are okay, but lack the sleek feel and luster of the Prosperity and Sea Side mats. Essentially, Hasbro toned down the high standards we saw in previous Dominion sets for whatever reason and hopped no one would notice. And, they are freaking huge company for crying out loud. Ugh! Yah, I'm dissapointed, but I know this is not RGG's fault. This does leave a bad impression though on some people who will see it as RGG trying to cut corners.

What reasons do you dislike Hasbro for?

(1) Discontinuing the online tools for D&D 4e
(2) Bringing the lawsuit against Cryptozoic
(3) Partnering with Zynga in the ultimate cash-grab to create a Words With Friends board game.

OK that's only three.  Still.  I bet I could think of more.

(2) Bringing the lawsuit against Cryptozoic
If this is a lawsuit against that incredibly blatant Magic rip-off, I'm on the anti-Cryptozoic side there.

I definitely seem to be one of the lucky ones. I haven't noticed any cutting problems, but I am definitely disappointed with the bendiness of the cards. I do sleeve my cards though, so it's not nearly as noticeable as it is without the sleeves.

It's fine, as long as you don't let Hope escape from it.
