Most valuable Fairgrounds

I think this has been done a number of times before, but it will be interesting to see how Adventures affects it.

I think right now, if you don't count Black Market (which depending on how you play with BM effectively makes it 200 or something), then I think the max nu,ber of unique cards in a single Kingdom is:

Base Kingdom: 10 cards
Victory Cards: 4 w/Colony
Coins: 4 w/Platinum
Shelters: 3

Extras:
Knights +9
Tournament +5
Merc +5 Ruins +1 Spoils
Young Witch +1 Kingdom +1 Curses
Hermit +1
Urchin +1
Alchemy card +1 Potion

Total: 21 + 25 = 46
...So 18 point Fairgrounds without Black Market...

Am I missing any?

It only uses 5 specific Kingdom cards (plus one from Prosperity to get the Colonies if you play by that rule). That leaves 3 more (after Fairgrounds itself) that can be used in Adventures to create the largest Kingdom possible.

We know already about the two "series" cards that each get you +4. Is it possible there are others?

If not we will be at 54 unique cards in a Kingdom and 20 point Fairgrounds...

Anything else missing? One possible card left (I know... Black Market....)

Ed

p.s., It must have been said before, but it's a nice theme that the two best support cards for Fairgrounds in terms of value are Knights and Tournaments.... (Followed by Mercenaries...)

EDITS from comments:
5 Ruins, not four
Added Shelters
Adventure Series are five cards not four
Potion

Ruins is +5 isn't it?

And the series have 5 cards total, so +4?

That would put you at 50 already.

Adding any potion card gets you another +1.

You seem to have missed Shelters.

I already made up a kingdom with the most uniques possible:

Urchin, Black Market, Alchemist, Tournament, Young Witch (Bane: Hermit), Knights, Bandit Camp, Cultist, Grand Market, Fairgrounds
+ Colony/Platinum and Shelters

Treasures: 5
Normal victory/curse: 5
Shelters: 3
Kingdom: 11
Extra knights: 9
Ruins: 5
Non-supply: 8
Black market: 25 (on Goko)
Total: 71 - Fairgrounds worth 28

This board can get wild. There's at least one game with it highlighted on my Twitch.

Now the challenge is: How fast can you gain every single card?

Better to use Marauder and squish Ruins/Spoils into one card.  With Adventures, try this:

Page, Peasant, Hermit, Urchin, Young Witch (Bane: Black Market), Tournament, Marauder, Knights, Fairgrounds, Possession

Basic: 4 Victory, 5 Treasure, 5 Ruins, 1 Curse, 3 Shelters = 18
Kingdom: 11
Extra Kinghts: 9
Non-Supply: 5 Prizes, 1 Madman, 1 Mercenary, 1 Spoils, 8 Travellers = 16
Black Market: 25
Total: 79 - Fairgrounds worth 30 points each.  With just one more card, you could get them worth 32.

Yeah, I made that kingdom before Adventures was announced. I had Bandit Camp for the village and Cultist for the draw, and I originally had Marauder too before switching it out for Grand Market (to "justify" Colony/Platinum). Travelers are a pretty great addition. I'd still kinda prefer Alchemist to Possession... or possibly Scrying Pool.

I was bored  ;D

Pre-Adventures I'm fairly confident the max number of uniques is 71, making Fairgrounds worth 28 each. I actually screwed up in this one and gained a Duchy with my Black Market Horn of Plenty, but luckily it didn't matter.

I think an interesting puzzle would be to see how fast you could get 8 28-point Fairgrounds (obviously I didn't put much thought into it on that one XD ).
