What you're describing is exactly the use case of Magic Workstation/Cockatrice/OCTGN. It will be very messy, but if you're desperate to play Adventures, you can do it. All you need to do is create custom cards with the Dominion card text.

wero and I will try streaming at least a couple of Skype games. We both live in different states, but we own the cards irl. I'm not sure how that will work out. We also both need to get our copies of Adventures first.

I think we'll have to skype on something other than what we're broadcasting on.  I can keep the webcam pointed at the cards and skype on my phone.
