So that they can get a head start on the programming? This will cut down on the wait-after-the-wait.

Tell them what? First of all, Goko is gone, it's Making Fun. And they already know about Adventures. They're re-doing the platform first, then will turn their attention to doing Adventures.

They've been told?  They've had a look at the Adventures cards?  I'm not exactly sure what else you think you'd be telling them...

I just call it Goko just for convenience. But I wasn't aware they were redoing stuff. How did you find out? Just wondering.

EDIT: Never mind, I see it now.

That's what they said. It was supposed to be ready last fall.

I really wish they'd pay doug to help.

IIRC, doug has already turned down the offer.

People bring this up every so often. The first person Goko approached to code their implementation was Doug. He turned them down (and I can't blame him).

The code also isn't the same.  If they're far along, bringing on a new programmer may not make sense anyway.

Ah, thank you for the correction. My mistake.

I almost think I get what you're saying but I'm not sure.

He's implying that they already know.  They've probably had the final text for the cards since about the time the printer got it, and almost certainly were informed of the new mechanics before that.

They have seen the cards for sure. When exactly they saw them, I don't know; possibly when the printer got them, possibly earlier.

I wouldn't worry too much about them adding Adventures. Goko doesn't have many revenue streams from existing players so I'm sure they will want to sell Adventures to us.

It would be even easier than selling us the rest of the promos.  Oh, wait.

They saw the cards.  They got scared.  They cried.  They buried their heads in the sand.   We're not getting Adventures, guys.

Or for that matter, selling the new base card art.
