Looks like RGG will now be publishing these two small expansions as a regular "big box" expansion. Cornucopia has actually been out of print for a bit at the distributor level, so I speculate this might be a "permanent" change. This is the entirety of the product description from RGG's site:

This combines Cornucopia and Guilds in one large box.

It's allready available in Germany, without base cards.

It's the same art as for the Base Cards set.

I doubt it will have base cards. The two sets combined are 600 cards plus the tokens from Guilds. This would make it technically the "biggest" expansion.

Anyway, this makes sense. A few months ago, I posted stats from Amazon showing that small sets did not sell anywhere near as well as large expansions. Though, this would suck if you owned Cornucopia and not Guilds or vice versa.

The two sets together are 300 cards, 7 of which are blanks. That still doesn't quit leave room for the 209 cards it takes to include base cards (it would be 502 cards).

Oops! For some reason, I thought they were 300 cards each! lol. I think I mentally combined the two sets in my head together and then added them again. Well, set size is not given. It does have the same $44.99 retail as the other large expansions though, except Hinterlands which is $5 cheaper.

Frankly, I'm more worried that Seaside is currently listed on the RGG website as a future release.

That's just a re-print. Seaside has also been out of print for a bit. I assume this is just a temporary hiccup during the transition to a US printer.

I think the German "big box" combines Cornucopia+Alchemists, not Guilds.

This exists "in the wild" now, at least in the US.

(unfortunately the side of the box does not list the expansion names, so stores shelving the boxes side-out will just have what looks like an orange base set  )

Though I agree with your insinuation that people blow things way out of proportion, the Adventures problems truly are real and worth fixing. Just last night I noticed some of my replacement Adventures cards are off-center (and this was while playing, not looking out for anything, thinking all was well!). At this point it's not worth the bother to send them back again (I mean clearly I can play with them). I'm certainly going to get a new copy of the fixed edition anyway.

Nope, just the store getting in copies, I already own both so I won't be picking up one for myself.
