Trick question. If they were interested in me, then they already made me a member without me knowing.

So it's not that they would ask me to join. They would kindly tell me that my life depends on them and are giving me the option to "leave" the organization.

But I draw the line at the KKK controlling the Boy Scouts. That combo is broken, man.

People believe that the KKK control the Boy Scouts? I can see the Queen of Elizabeth being a lizard, but this is too far..

Well, they don't have to control the Boy Scouts, but all violent groups get double attack when aiding the Boy Scouts. It's the kind of thing that helps the Servants of Cthulhu win.

I guess I would consider it if it would give me the power to do something that is so hard the world hasn't been able to accomplish it yet, like land a space ship on a comet  harness nuclear fission create a working online implementation of Dominion.
