For people who don't know what I'm talking about, see this post. I think it's a good idea to participate.

I thought it would be best to do things officially, so I'll do this here. Everyone who wants, please PM me any number of names of the people you think should participate. Anybody who gets at least two nominations will be asked if they want to and are able to participate. Then I'll make a poll of all eligible people, and whoever gets voted the most will be the person we send to the championship.

I'm going to close nominations on April 1st and get the poll up as soon as possible, then the poll will close on the 4th. Hopefully that's enough time with the first game starting on the 6th.

Also, we need to make sure our candidate has enough time as well. Up to 500 posts in 24 hours sounds like quite a bit.

I forgot to mention in the PMs I just sent, I just said to say no if you are not able to participate, but you can also say no if you don't want to participate. That's pretty obvious, but just clarifying things and I don't feel like sending out a bajillion more PMs.

So I responded to Sudgy that I could do it, but honestly I'd defer to any of the other three: they're just more experienced, more knowledgeable, and better players than I am, and they'd be a better representatives. But if they all can't do it and we need a representative, I would play.
