Suppose Beggar is the bane card... is there any rules regarding the order of things? I'm not much for the pedantics sometimes (I'll let Goko figure it out for me). Can you reveal for bane AND discard for silvers?

Beggar's reaction triggers when your opponent plays the card. Young Witch lets the opponent reveal the Bane as a part of its effect while it's resolving. Cards are played before their effects can resolve, therefore you have to discard Beggar for Silvers before revealing the Bane.

So no, you can't do both.
