Goko non-functional?
« on: March 16, 2015, 02:22:50 pm »

I was going to lose a few games, but the login button is non-responsive, and the "play bots" button is also non-responsive, so I can't play as a guest.  Anyone else having issues?

Edit: Sorry about the incorrect reference in the thread title.  Please, no making fun of me.

Had a friend having that same exact problem.  Told him to clear his cache.  It started working.

I knew I could count on a random advisor to develop a solution.

I was hoping you also had the issues with cards and the whole screen going black, but I guess that's just me.  It's probably easier to play Hearthstone than hope for deliverance

Why would you hope that for me?  ;)

It's working now.  I've logged in and can lose to the bots.

Maybe it's the fact that they make their moves near instantaneously (I mean, they are computers), but those bots seem aggressive.

Well I can't really disagree with that.

Goko has been non-functional from day 1.

It is imperative that they sort this out.

And no response when I hit the login button.

As an aside, I wonder how much more money they will charge to deny access to the Adventure cards.

If it's anything like Dark Ages, they'll accidentally release Adventures to everyone at some point.

I don't know, but probably as much as Dark Ages? From a digital standpoint, there's more work involved with (and more gameplay in) Adventures than in Dark Ages (30 Kingdom cards plus 20 Events).

Today's new feature is that the ridiculous music can't be turned off.  From the front page, I can X out the music symbol, but the music still plays on.  From in a game, I can hit the settings icon, and X out the music symbol, but the music, again, simply plays on.

Oh, such joy.  I can turn off the speakers, but I would miss out on the trumpet blast announcing that I've fallen another 6 points behind, and I wouldn't want to miss that!

Was playing just fine last night and this morning, but now the screen is just always black for me. Anybody else? Clearing my cache didn't help.
