So, on Adam H's stream, someone (Jsh?) hypothesised that a majority of people on here don't smoke. This poll was therefore created to consider this hypothesis. Note: only forum admin can see people's votes, so it's anonymous.

Both my parents smoked for 30+ years.  I still can't stand even the barest smell of smoke.

I think so.  I suppose you combined them to include smoking an occasional cigar or something, but I think they could be separated into two categories.

My whole family smokes/used to smoke, and I actually kind of enjoy the smell, but I've never smoked anything in my life.

So far, I'm the only former smoker. Interesting. But the claim that the majority of f.ds consists of nonsmokers is looking more likely.

I actually took up smoking twice. The first time was when I was 11 and hung around with the bad crowd. I didn't even enjoy it. The juvenile delinquents did it, and I didn't want to seem like a pansy. My second time was in college when I had a horrible roommate. The roommate was such a slob. He left a bowl with a puddle of cereal milk out for a week. The spoon stuck to the bowl. My dorm room could be smelled at least 7 doors down the hallway. I took up smoking in the hopes of forcing the roommate out. It didn't work, but it did make the room smell better.

I hate cigarette smoke, but pipe smoke is actually kind of pleasant.

Non-smoker here. I don't do snus either. I think, cigarettes, cigars and snus smell horrible. Pipe smoke I can stand. Hookahs tend to smell pretty good.

It was just a hunch.  My thought was just that most people here are pretty smart and would avoid cancer as much as possible.  Admittedly I was not expecting this big a blowout.  You guys should listen to me more often.

When I worked in fast food, the smokers would get like 6 smoke breaks per shift.  I should have pretended I smoked.

Yes they are, but I stupidly started the poll with Yes and No as only options. So then when I edited it, it would only let me have 3 options.

I would say "not frequently" fits much better in the "Yes" column than the "No" column.

I worked a temp job in an office where smokers were allowed a break. I'd go out there with them even though I didn't smoke. After all, I deserved to take the same breaks as them.

I wouldn't do that now because I'm so sensitive toward cigarette smoke. It bugs me when a smoker is just outside the door.

Not that it changes my answer any, but I wonder where e-cigs fit in all this.

Interestingly enough, I do not have adverse reactions to e-cigs, while analog cigarettes cause me issues.

As such, I am not in favor of attempts to forbid "vaping." I've heard of people modifying their e-cigs so that they produce a crazy amount of scented water vapor, which I could see as being an issue for some.
