Zap
Types: Action
Cost: $7
Say, "Wait, I set the game up wrong!" This game ends. When you create starting hands for the next game, replace one of your Coppers with a Silver or one of your Estates with a Duchy.

Cool box art, cool name. But it's a bit surprising that the name is 1) so close to the name of a card that is not in the set, and 2) identical to the name of a Dominion online game mode. Wonder if Adventures mode will be renamed to avoid confusion.

Also, the box color appears to be the same as Intrigue. Will this be the first expansion not to have a new box color?

I don't know about you guys, but when I think of adventure, I think of flying in the air.  In a balloon.  While eating a bacon cheeseburger.

Damnit, no where in this thread does it give the name, now I have to click the link to find out. Although Dominion: Adventure is suggested so that's my guess before clicking. EDIT: hey it says in the link itself.

I don't get the florst vs. forth thing.

It wasn't supposed to be forth.  The joke is that 'florst' is the fifth direction, since usually the four directions are north, west, east, and south.  Now that I have explained the joke, it is much funnier.

I don't know if that's the final box border color or what. Possibly it is.

I asked MF to change the name of the adventures to "campaigns," for some reason. And they said sure, so yes, they will be renamed, whenever that version comes out, and they won't have Adventures before then, so it will all work out.

Okay.. it's currently at 50% funny.. I still don't get why the word is "florst".

I thought Donald X said he'd never do Event cards!

He said he didn't see a point in doing "events" that happen globally every X turns or whatever. If you read the Adventures description, the Events in this new set are things that you can buy that are not cards.

Token stuff seems kinda reminiscent of Enterprise.

I wonder if coin tokens will be back? Although it might be a bit soon to bother reprinting that many redundant tokens.

There are 30 new Kingdom cards, including the return of Duration cards that do things on future turns, plus Reserve cards that can be saved for the right moment. There are also 20 Event cards that give you something to buy besides cards, including tokens that modify cards.

Good, now some cats are out of the bag and I can be less coy.  But still coy.

If anyone was interested in Seaside II, well, hope you're ready for some fun.

And modifying cards?  Man, it's as complex and crazy as it sounds.  This set hurts my brain, in a good way even.

Events are neat; they are gonna change things.

Speculate away!

So there are 20 events. Does this mean 20 of the 30 new kingdom cards are event cards, or is this separate? That is, 20 unique event cards referenced by some other cards. I'm guessing 20 separate unique cards. They give you something to buy besides cards? As in:

Event Card, Action, $2
+ 1 card
+ 1 action
You may spend any number of coins. If you do, add a +1 coin token to a supply pile costing that amount. When anyone plays a card from that pile it gives an additional coin per +1 coin token.

Also, for Dark Ages and Guilds, release ended up being a month after revealing box art and description.  Does this mean we're looking at a February/March release?

Also, for Dark Ages and Guilds, release ended up being a month after revealing box art and description.  Does this mean we're looking at a February/March release?
Don't get my hopes up. As of before-I-saw-this-thread I was just hoping for early June...

Although on January 2nd I did have a moment where I was like "Wait, it's been 2015 for two days now, where's my Dominion expansion??"

Reserves sound like coin tokens to me, except not coin tokens. (action, card, buy)

I think I know something about the new duration cards...

I don't think it's giving too much away to say: Events are themselves things you buy that are not cards. As in when you buy them, you do not gain them. As in the example in the blurb, you might instead be buying tokens that modify cards.

Wait, but it says there are 20 event cards. Does that just mean that they don't go into your deck, maybe go straight into play as permanents? (or maybe just one immediate effect, i.e., each player trashes a card from their hand of your choice - obviously this isn't balanced, but you get the point)

They are cards because you need a physical support to tell you what they do. But they don't go into your deck. Think spells in prismata or something, is my guess.

Not February. The initial earliest projected date was March. It's printed in the US now (and printed in Europe for European versions), so shipping won't be a random holdup. It may easily fail to make March though. It's on track, but April is a safer guess.

To prevent anyone else falling into the sad misreading I just did: RGG now prints Dominion in the US. The quoted sentence does not mean, as I so sadly thought at first, that copies of Adventures are all already somehow printed.

I'm guessing there's 1 of each Event card.  But there has to be some rule as to when you play with Events.  Do you put all of them in?  Do you always play with them?  Is it like the Colonies/Shelters rules for Prosperity/Dark Ages?

I'm guessing Reserve is a Kingdom card type.

No, it's this:

Reserves Action Card - Cost: 3 Coin
+1 Action
Reveal the top card of your deck. Put it in your hand or discard it. If you discard it, +1 Card.

I don't get the florst vs. forth thing.

It wasn't supposed to be forth.  The joke is that 'florst' is the fifth direction, since usually the four directions are north, west, east, and south.  Now that I have explained the joke, it is much funnier.

Okay.. it's currently at 50% funny.. I still don't get why the word is "florst".
Because it's not          Moat        .

Awesome write-up, my favourite so far.

Event cards!  I was thinking that might be a thing, but I don't know if I actually posted it in the predictions thread.  Though perhaps the Event cards in this set will be different than our previous conception of Event cards.  LF's comment suggests this is the case.

Based on comments in the thread so far from people in the know, it sounds like Event cards are something you buy that let you do something immediately, but don't gain you a card.  So each of the 20 Event cards are actually separate Events.

How would you include them in the game?  I imagine that you could set it up like you do Colonies, or optionally choose to include them outright, if you so desire.  And if you use Events, maybe randomly choose 3 and that's it for the whole game?  Maybe once an Event is purchased, it is replaced by a new one from the stack?

There could be cards with set-up rules that make more Events available from the start.  Or maybe you can only purchase an Event if you play a certain card.  Maybe a card could provide you with a bigger selection of Events from the stack, Black Market-style.

As for what they could do... it's already been revealed in this thread that they might allow you to add modification tokens to cards (presumably to those in the Supply, which tells you how all copies of that card are modified).  Maybe an Event could immediately give you a bonus for that turn, like +2 Buy, or variable +coins (e.g. +$ equal to the number of Copper in play for a sort of Coppersmith effect).  There could be more situational powers, like immediately trashing a Supply pile (which could be game breaking if you can trigger the same Event multiple times in one turn).  Maybe an Event could swap out one Supply pile for another one.

Maybe some Events could change major rules in the game -- when you buy it, it turns on the rule change.  Maybe another player can buy it again to toggle it back off.  An Event that requires an additional empty pile for the game to end?  An Event that makes Estates worth more VP?  An Event that changes card costs while it is active?  An Event that disables Attacks, or one that disables Reactions?

Man, this is exciting.

As for Reserve cards, they sound like a new type similar to Durations, and maybe similar to LF's Activation cards.

I doubt events are like shelters/colonies... my guess is that they're more like ruins/knights/black market. Some cards add the event pile in some form or another. I hope they aren't too swingy.

Surprising as it may seem, some of the cards I'm most excited for from the meetup weren't new durations or ones using the new mechanics (though I'm excited for those too)

Soooo... I'll just say that the reserve mechanic is super-hott and Donald came up with some really, really cool things to do with it. Events are just so much fun and I'm really happy that design space got explored.

Basically, I could probably squee about almost every card in this set. Except for Bacon Cheeseburger. You know.

I have prototype cards for all of this stuff and I'm so pumped that I'll probably have my copy before June.

Can someone who's played with the new cards at least answer the most important question of all:

Are any of them more powerful than Bureaucrat?
Is one of them an Ironic Tiller?
Is it Moat?
Is isotropic getting shut down?
Won't someone please think of the blue dogs?
How do they combo with Scout?

Events? Probably something like being able to do things. Like you get an extra $3 to spend but your opponents get an extra $1 to spend. This can be expanded to +actions, +buys, card draw, card draw scouting, coin token gaining, and some other mechanic that we don't know of yet. Perhaps setting a card aside as if it were a reserve, like Prince?

I feel like there might be a new curse variant. Something new that is bad like ruins maybe.

Reserve Cards. Ah. Nice. Native Village is kind of a pseudo reserve card. It'll probably be somewhat similar, except you can just hold onto it and use it. It uses up an action though, so that will be interesting for sure. What if the reserve card was only for 1 time? Then once you used it, you would use it as it were any other action card.

I feel like Reserves are the color of Green. But they could be Red.

Just some thoughts.

That's good news, I always liked the previews doing one card per week or something like that.

I wasn't happy when Dark Ages (was it DA?) leaked.

Some DA cards got leaked to beta testers on Goko *after* the previews.  It was Hinterlands that had the cards leaked *during* the previews.

My guess is that the mat will be used as a personal stock for each player and that you will use tokens to mark what you have, potentially on different regions on the same mat. I also can imagine personal tokens in different colors that show your influence/ownership of stuff. Think "Village" (the board game).

In other words, Dominion becoming more of a boardgame.

If someone not connected to f.ds and to Dominion looks at that board, he'll probably be really surprised to know that most of that excited people posting here are actually grown-ups and some with families, and not a bunch of children eager to find a new shiny toy under the Christmas tree.

That's hilarious  :)

I don't know about you guys, but when I think of adventure, I think of flying in the air.

That's the fifth direction the teaser text speaks of, so it's covered.

Surely you went *through* the tunnel and not under it?  Unless you have some sort of drilling vehicle?

There has to be a ten year anniversary game. So there might not be as many game realeases, just Promo cards leading up to that. After the release of Adventures.

They'd all have to be Dark Ages /Adventures size to come close to DXV kingdom cards by the D:XV expansion.

And your so-called point is?  ;)

More seriously, I would think there would have to be some additional major mechanics or game play changes to get enough useful design space for, what, 260 additional cards? I think Adventures only gets you like half-way there. And the physical randomizer deck would be like a Vegas-style shoe for Blackjack. And Hobby Lobby would have to start selling design supply steamer trunks for people to convert into Dominion storage.

But the really cool word "daunting" would get used a lot with respect to the game, so there's that.

My guesses:

The mats are adventure mats.  You somehow are assigned or take on an adventure/adventures and track their progress on the mat.

Completing adventures may even give you some sort of alternate victory point / game winning condition.

Event cards are cards you can 'play' any time, but they are always available for all players to play.  Perhaps all 20 event cards are available to always play, perhaps there is a more limited number like 4-8 available in one particular game determined at random.

Mats are to sleep on, while you're out adventuring.

Not included are the 36 bags you'll need for carrying back to town all the axes and shortswords that are all that remain after you slay a bandit or lizardman

If DXV wrote the code, it might load.  Otherwise, I don't think he would allow a physical copy of the game to be sullied by the inclusion of a component that was only going to function part of the time.

I also see that Adventures will have tokens of some sort. Will these be a new design, or more of one of the existing kinds of tokens? Do you know how many will be included?

There are 60, 10 per player color, and they are chits.

All hail to whoever predicted player colors!

I also can imagine personal tokens in different colors that show your influence/ownership of stuff.

What, me? Oh my, you're too kind.

If MF does the "standard" thing and decides that P1 is always blue and P2 is always red and blah blah blah, I might try and just play all of my games as second player. I'm one of those guys in the gaming group that always plays red, and if someone else gets red: 1. they're just doing it to troll me and 2. I'm super-confused the whole game and red usually ends up winning.

This gives a jumping point for more speculation. It seems to me that the only good reason to have different colours for the tokens is that they have an owning player and get mixed up in some common area. Current Dominion tokens either have an owning player or get put in a common area, but not both at the same time.

My first thought is that it might be a mechanic vaguely similar to Temporum's Primitive Paradise, triggered by the presence of a certain card in the kingdom, like how Trade Route and Baker have setup rules involving tokens. Each kingdom pile could start with a token for each player, and the first time that player gains that card, they could remove the token, and maybe get some kind of bonus as a result, like say keeping the token for 1VP at game end, or powering up the card that put out the tokens (like with Pirate Ship). That would also explain why you want a mat to put them on.

The issue with that: Young Witch can make the kingdom have 11 kingdom cards. That makes putting in 11 tokens seem more friendly, since otherwise the wording+FAQ will need to be especially careful to handle the Young Witch case in an appropriate way. Although on the other hand, maybe only every kingdom pile _except_ the triggering card gets a token. So it's not impossible.

Another possibility is that players can play a one-shot to put a token of their colour on a supply pile, similar to Embargo. The token could trigger some penalty when another player tries to buy/gain the card, or better, a bonus when you do. This doesn't really explain what the mat is for though, so I'm not convinced. Also, Embargo came with 15 tokens, so this only having 10 would be strange.

Not necessarily. Everyone uses the same Embargo tokens, so maybe they assumed that it wouldn't be a single player who Throne Rooms all of the new one-shot cards.

I'm always green, but I don't know if I would be confused if someone else were green, because I'm always green. In dominion I sometimes forget whose deck is whose and accidentally make my own deck an engine that doesn't work instead of my opponents. Now that I can be green all the time again I'm sure I will be a much better dominion player.

Have you seen red saxophones? They're hideous. Plus, after that practice, every part of the sax that I touched was red anyways.

I played Saxophone in high school.  After I got a real one, I took my old (cheap) one and painted it blue, just for fun.  It looked kind of cool, though there were a couple of rods that I couldn't get back in place.

I learned that taking apart and putting back together a saxophone is not that easy.

How many extra parts you had left after you had finished putting it back together?

The fact that the new mats are Seaside sized suggests they are for putting cards on, especially considering Donald guessed they would be that size (presumably based on mechanics) - if they were for the new tokens they would probably be Prosperity sized.

As to the tokens, the fact they are color coded suggests they go in the common area, which at current would mean on supply piles. My guess is they modify the effects of a given card, but only for the token placer. It will probably.rewrote the play of a one-off card to place a token, so I would think the effects would have to be pretty strong to justify the delay (of course something as simply as +1 action can be extremely powerful on the right card.)

Like, 3-5.  There was one key (or maybe it was a piece that held a couple keys) that I couldn't find the right way to put back on (i.e., to have the spring or whatever keep it out and be able to close it correctly when pressing.

But, I never used the old saxophone, so it really wasn't an issue.  I had thoughts to march with it for marching band (I didn't want to march with the expensive sax, and our school colors were blue), but I stopped band early so that I could graduate early, and I ended up marching with Tenor instead of Alto because we were short there.

Posted in a fan cards thread yesterday:

Quote
This is the 9th addition to the game of Dominion. It has 400 cards, 6 mats, and 60 tokens. There are 30 new Kingdom cards, including the return of Duration cards that do things on future turns, plus Reserve cards that can be saved for the right moment. There are also 20 Event cards that give you something to buy besides cards, including tokens that modify cards.

My thought is mainly about that last line -- tokens that modify cards, which are things you can buy via events.  I figured that there would be a common supply of tokens which would modify cards for all players, but the recent reveal that there are player colours makes it even more compelling.

I don't know how Events will be incorporated.  Maybe they will just be things chosen at the start of the game, as you described in the OP.  Maybe there will be specific cards that trigger events.

Anyway, I figure there will be an event that lets players buy "Progress Tokens" (arbitrary name here).  You put the token on a card in the supply (maybe restricted to action cards, maybe not).  Copies of cards have the bonuses associated with tokens on their supply pile.  I suppose they should only last while the card is still in the supply, but maybe you could keep the effects and trust that people can remember, or you could use the randomizers maybe.

In my original idea, I also figured that the cost of the cards should increase by $1 for each token on them.  But with player colours, it's simpler.  You pay the upfront cost for the token and the benefit is only for you.  If it's only a blue token on the card, only the blue player gets that bonus.

There are 10 tokens for each player.  So what could the effects be?  The vanilla bonuses are 4 obvious ones.  Another obvious one is a token that makes each copy of the card worth 1VP more.  You could also have a simple cost reduction token.  An interesting bonus would be a cost increase, which is only a bonus in combination with TfB (or Border Village).  Maybe a token could add "trash a card" as an effect.  Maybe a token could transform a card into a Reserve card, whatever that means.  A token could make the card untrashable like Fortress.  Or a token could give a card the Moat reaction.  There are many possibilities, though they should be kept simple.

For clarity -- the effects of tokens on a card should be resolved before you resolve the actual card text, for the tokens that give it bonuses on play.  This is just to make it easier to track things (think tokens on KC).

These token shenanigans need not be restricted to event cards.  For example, here's one idea:

Circus
$4 - Action
Swap one of your Progress tokens on a Supply pile with another from your reserve.

Setup: Each player randomly places 3 of their Progress tokens on the Circus Supply pile.

Clarifications:
- Need better wording; "reserve" isn't great here because it could be confused with the Reserve mechanic, whatever it is.
- You would get the current Circus bonuses before having to swap a Progress token.  The swap is mandatory, and it could indeed change Circus does between plays.
- As currently written, the setup means each player's Circus could be different.  The rule could be changed so that all players start with the same 3 tokens on the card though.

Anyway, that's my idea.  As a quick addendum, I figure that Reserve cards will be pretty simple.  I figure they'll be like long-lasting Durations that trigger when you want them to trigger.  That is, when you play a Reserve card, it goes directly to your Reserve mat.  You can play a card from your Reserve mat for free at any time during your turn (other than in the middle of resolving another action, of course).  Maybe some of them will have an effect when you first play them, and maybe some will have a while-in-reserve effect that could be good or bad.

Seeing how right/wrong you guys are is hilarious, but also frustrating, because I can't say *how* right/wrong you are.

It's possible, but that's not necessarily what distinguished the Seaside mats. After all, the Seaside maps also included Pirate Ship, but it kept the large size because it was in a set of six and that's the size you get when you split a sheet of that size into six mats instead of nine like in Prosperity. By the same approach, just from knowing that there were only six maps, it seemed pretty likely that they'd be Seaside sized without knowing anything else about them, because why make them Prosperity sized if that wouldn't fill a whole sheet?

See, I thought that was the joke.  I say I'm not accepting bribes, which, through reverse psychology, prompts people to bribe me.  It's like saying "I'm not driving us to McDonald's" when your stoner friend hadn't even asked you to.

Why, the only thing that could make our deep friendship even more awesome would be me knowing everything about that upcoming Dominion expansion. Now that's just typical! A little internal knowledge of your oh-so-great Adventures expansion and you immediately forget your old pals... I am very disappointed in you, werothegreat. Funny enough, i actually considered asking you to be friends - online friends, to be precise. You see, your avatar tempts me to believe that you play Super Smash Bros for Wii U, and you can never have enough online friends.

Anyhow, as friendship is commonly known to be magic, i accept.

Totally besides the point, but somehow not: I always like to play achromatic colors. Black or white, but preferredly grey. Is that weird?
At least you have Fifty Shades to choose from.

I tried to find an original answer to this, buz sadly "As long as one of them is 'Dorian'." doesn't work.
Behind every exquisite thing that existed, there was something tragic.

Those who find ugly meanings in beautiful things are corrupt without being charming. This is a fault. Those who find beautiful meanings in beautiful things are the cultivated. For these there is hope. They are the elect to whom beautiful things mean only Beauty.

... and those that find beauty in ugly things? You forgot to mention them ...

Though i wouldn't dare try to overthrow our clowned king (and really nice guy) Ozle.

Somewhere on this forum I read that Ozle and DXV are the same person. How did this rumour originate, or, in case it's true, how was it uncovered?

Simple:

-Everybody is WanderingWinder.

Ergo:
-Ozle is WanderingWinder.
-Donald is Wandering Winder.

Ergo, Ozle is Donald.

That was a quote from The Picture of Dorian Gray, because people were talking about Dorian.

Yeah...or not. All people may be [some part of] Wandering Winder, but you can construct a model where Ozle is one part of WW and DXV is another.

And the evidence to date (or of today) would indicate that I am some part of Wandering Winder that can get WW and SCSN to agree on something and tag-team Adam Horton.

And I think I will stop right there.

Yeah, that was (one of) the joke(s).

Since I only got one up vote, let me go ahead and explain the other one, to make it funnier: The phrase "is it just me" in the question can be interpreted as "am I the only one who thinks there are distinct users on f.ds", but it can also be interpreted as "am I the only one here".  However, in either case, the phrase "is it just me" poses a reasonable alternative to the former half of the disjunction.  Therefore, the existence of these two equally valid interpretations of the question constitutes a pun.  Since puns are typically considered to be humorous, then the question can be considered a joke.  QED

tl;dr: My joke is funny because it can be considered a joke.

That was a 2nd printing date, put up when Temporum was already out. Yes it's mislabeled as a release date. I don't know if Temporum's 2nd printing will actually make that date.

And for what it's worth, Temporum missed its original release date somewhat. It was listed as 2014-09-15 but it eventually took until late November.

Man, I really hope the new version of Dominion Online is ready by then. I want to play Adventures online, already.

I dunno, even if the new system is up by then, some of these cards (and other things) are going to be a bitch to code...

Man, Hot Air Balloon alone is going to take them a week.

Any reference to Hot Air Balloon automatically gets you +1 reputation.

Hot air balloon is not a problem.  I expect them to have far more issues with Drop Table.

Although surely if we are all WW, we already know all the cards, since someone knows them, and they are WW, and so are we.

Yes, AND I'm reasonably certain that there are no Goko programmers on f.DS, so they are not WW, and we are laughing commiserating empathizing wondering about how hard it will be to program the toughest of the new cards, which they have not yet seen.

I can't believe you guys are worried about Hot Air Balloon OR Drop Table when there is Merry Go 'Round to consider.

Poor Goko "programmers".
Wait a minute; on reddit we were told by somebody professing to be a Level 40 player who had play tested the new cards that:

1) They were indeed all Scout variants (because Scouts do go on Adventures),
2) That there were tokens involved that could at least be likened to merit badges, and
3) (we surmised) a new victory condition had been added which was arriving at the High Adventure Base of Philmont.

Were we misled?

This sounds rather specific to me. I immediately had to ponder what kind of effect he could mean. If "You may set this aside from your hand or put it there at any time." is on any Adventures card, i guessed it here first.

I think you might be confused by the joke, so let me explain it to make it funnier. "Merry go 'round", "Drop Tables", and "Hot Air Balloon" are not code names for specific Adventures cards. The joke with these absurd names is that they are so silly that they could never be Adventures cards and the names imply strange mechanics (or programming issues, in the case of Drop Tables).

When Jsh says "Hot Air Balloon" I know exactly which card he's talking about. I have a specific one in mind when I say "Bacon Cheeseburger" -- the other ones I think were jokes, or at least I don't know the real cards they represent.

Last time I tried to buy a Balloon Revolution, my opponents insisted that it wasn't in the supply.

And asked me to keep my mind on the game of Seven Wonders.

Why would anybody need a whole separate florist to choose flowers for their hair?  Why not just use your regular florist?

So, the frontpage now promises we gonna see some previews at the end of the month.
Is that some sort of speculation or where did that information come from?

The expansion is set to come out April 8, so previews will start March 30th. That way, if someone jumps the gun by a couple days, the previews are still all out first.

I'm curious about the German version. The German word for Adventures is "Abenteuer", but that's already the translation of Venture.

Has anyone mentioned yet how Adventurer is not in Adventures?
I'm curious about the German version. The German word for Adventures is "Abenteuer", but that's already the translation of Venture.

Fahrten?  Or maybe they'll just call it "Adventures", like they did with "Darkages".

Weird. Maybe they should have named Venture "Unterfangen". Or was there already a card with that name?

"Unterfangen" doesn't really sound good as a card name. I guess they'll just call the expansion "Abenteuer" anyway

I'm pretty sure it's going to be "Adventures". Every german knows what "Adventures" means, and the thing with "Abenteuer" is that you can't see it's plural. So it looks like "Ein Abenteuer/Das Abenteuer" just without the article, making it look a bit odd.

So far I have not pushed back the previews.

The 30th is my birthday, so that's a great present, thanks.  Please would you start off the previews with Squirt?  I'd love to know what Squirt does.

Well, Ryan Laukat has done the art for a card from every expansion (except a Promo), and did the new Base Cards Treasures.  Similarly, Matthias Catrein has done at least one card from every large set (most of the Base set), and been otherwise involved in every small set (Potion for Alchemy, cover for Guilds, layout for Cornucopia), as well as doing a Promo.  I think it's safe to say we'll be seeing at least one card by each of them in Adventures.

Other likely ones:
Alayna Lemmer (done at least 2 cards every set since Cornucopia)
Claus Stephan (done a few, in all except Cornucopia and Guilds, one of Donald X.'s favorite artists)
Harald Lieske (done a few)
Jason Slavin (Donald X. has singled out his IGG artwork as awesome)
Kurt Miller (his CGI monstrosities have plagued us since Cornucopia)
Marcel-André Casasola Merkle (one of Donald X.'s favorite artists)
Lynell Ingram (Maura Kalusky seems gone for good, but Ms. Ingram seems to be carrying the cartoon torch)

I hear Donald is a massive Bosch fan.

Not sure if that means he is into his Renaissance Dutch artist, or just a big fan of power tools.

Someone was depicted in that art. Imagine how they feel.

Jay did not mind that art. That artist had a problem with deadlines though.

Not sure if that means he is into his Renaissance Dutch artist, or just a big fan of power tools.
You misheard - it's borscht. And it's not true, in fact I don't think I've ever had borscht.

Aw, man, you haven't lived.
Anyway, sorry about the Erroneous Bosch.

Every time I look at one of your posts, I think "Weird, I didn't write that!" because you have the same avatar as me. I identify with that avatar - it is exactly my writing pose. I demand you change it immediately!

I am joking or am I?, you can keep it. You better change it, though.
Well, as I seem to recall Donald XV pointing out in the card preview, sometimes a Sage just gets you... another Sage.

Goddammit! I guess I should've expected it. Well then, keep throwing people off by disguising as amazing me. Hilarity will ensue.

30 March 2015. I'm pretty sure. If it's not the 30th it is definitely 31st.

Jay has announced he'll put the rules up on the site on April 18.

He then also said the game will likely not physically be in stores until April 22, as he didn't know the 18th was a Saturday, and it was the distributor date anyway. Not sure if this changes what he said about putting the rules up on April 18.

He posted about the rulebook thirty minutes after he posted about the release date.
