I created an account a couple of weeks ago and played a few games that day.  Since then I haven't been able to successfully play at all.  I've tried using both firefox and chrome, and disabled cookies but still when I click the "login" button, it just loads indefinitely and doesn't log in.  Has anyone else had this problem and want to help me out?

It's on the fritz right now. It's not just you. The only advice I have is to wait until they fix it.

  Is this a common problem? Because I've been having trouble for the last couple times I've tried to log in, all in the past few weeks.

I get your point, but I was actually reinforcing the 'having trouble for the last few weeks' concept.  I hate that I missed an opportunity to beat on them again  , but to be fair, the link you posted from 2012 was actually Goko (or Nogo, as I've come to think of it), and we are now on the Making Fun attempt.  We are Making Fun aren't we?

I'm not going to bash the current incumbent for the mistakes of their predecessor (except maybe on Fridays), but I will bash them even harder for their inability to avoid the same mistakes. I mean these guys are qualified to be... oh wait, that's RSP territory.
