$3 and trashes a Copper = a terminal Silver that gains a Lab

Terminal Silver that also turns a Peddler into a Laboratory.

Getting a little out of hand. Trashing a Copper means you’re cycling your deck one-card faster at the expense of one less coin to your deck’s total potential. Given that, to stay with the gain a Lab analogy, we’re adding pseudo-Peddlers to our starting deck? I get it, but oy vey.
It is an interesting discussion, for sure though.

Yeah, each Copper is a Lump Of Lead (Treasure: +$0) and a Peddler.  I think.  Except you get to play the Peddler before Moneylender trashes the Peddler for $2 and a Lab.  Sort of.

Well, the Lab you gain is not a concrete Lab, so the Peddler you trash doesn't have to be a concrete Peddler either.

And buying Alchemist removes a Lump of Lead from your deck, but for some reason doesn’t give you Gold in its place.

Yeah, he needs a Potion and a Philosopher's Stone to finish the job.

Upgrading Copper is kind of like Upgrading Poacher to Laboratory. Except that it is not. It is weaker.

It's stronger, actually. The Laboratory can get bottomdecked and then you'll just draw the stop card normally, which can't happen if you simply don't have the stop card in your deck.

Otherwise you could claim that Island is like a Laboratory with 2VPs attached to it.

It's obviously not a Laboratory, it is itself a stop card. It is, however, like a Feast that gains a Laboratory with 2 VP tokens attached to it.

Or that Sanctuary is a Laboratory-gaining, anti-Peddler Market Square that is thrice also a cantrip VP-gainer.

It obviously doesn't ever gain any VP, only Labs.

It does as those Estates are not blown to smithereens.

Which is not any different compared to not playing Sanctuary.

lol, so I think if you use Messenger to give a copy of Secret Passage to Revenge Witch, she eventually plays the card and can't decide what to do.  Because the AI is based on them never owning cards it isn't going to buy or gain?  Crazy.

This should probably be a comic or meme somehow but I don't have a plot yet.

I think that’s the name of a bot, not some new card.

Revenge Witch
$5 Action - Reaction - Attack
Each other player gains a Curse.
-
When another player plays an Attack card, you may play this from your hand twice.

Making Fun/Dominion Online bot #2.  I don't know if the bug is consistent, but I tried gaining a Secret Passage with Messenger and the AI grinded to a halt when they played it and had to choose what to do with a card.

So it's Hireling and 2 Great Halls for only $4

I looked through some of this thread recently for nostalgia's sake and was disappointed to discover most of the images and stuff from the first 100 or so* pages of posts are gone. I understand it takes up space somewhere, but it'd be nice for certain threads to be preserved for posterity(?). oh well.

(*I'm just guessing how far it goes. I only glanced through the first ~50 pages of posts.)
