I did. It's the yellow circular thing smiling at you from the end of the sentence  8)

Don't let the pedantry of this place get to you, Taco Lobster :)

You didn't end your sentence with a period.

And you had two periods at the end of your sentence.

You should probably separate yellow and circular with a comma.

My local FLGS had some ready to go. It doesn't hurt that my family co-owns one of my FLGS' branches, so I was sure to have one set aside, not that anyone was rushing to get a copy.

Cool. You should have seen if you could have got the copy earlier and cracked it open. You wouldn't have to post anything on the net, but it is always cool to see cards before everyone else.

Nah, we just got the shipment in either yesterday or today. Maybe I could have tried to sneak over to our warehouse, but that's far away and overstepping my boundaries a hundred times over. I'm content enough to have a hard copy so soon.

Except, you know, the whole having no one to play with part.

If you live in Southern California, I would be happy to play with you.

If by SoCal you mean Washington, DC, then you have yourself a deal. But then again, if you were in DC, you'd probably be buying your own copy ASAP tomorrow.

Yah, I'm going to order my copy off boards and bits pretty soon.

I love how so many people across the country frequent one of my local stores...

Is that directed at me, Kirian? If so, all I meant was that despite us having it ready for sale on the day it is first available, no one buys it. It doesn't mean I am disappointed in terms of sales, but in terms of lack of avid Dominion players. I'd be just as sad if Toys "R" Us didn't sell any of Dark Ages today. OK, maybe slightly, slightly less sad, but you know what I mean.

If that wasn't directed at me? Well, then, oops.

I've checked several FLGS in the greater Seattle area, and none of them have copies, yet. I know there are a few other forumers from around here - anyone know who might have a copy now? (I'm hoping to play this weekend before going out of town next week.)

Wasn't... directed at anyone.  And wasn't intended as sarcasm, either.  Boards and Bits is local to me, like, I've literally picked up games there in person.  It's cool that so many people get games via them.  That's all! :)

Young Nick, my roommates and I are in DC and would gladly play with you. I just ordered our copy, but it won't arrive until next week.

Imagine how terrible we'd think Swindler was if it came out in this set instead of Intrigue.

Thanks, thirtyseven, for the picture formatting advice!

I know it isn't going to.

But still... we have this time before iso goes down, why not implement dark ages for the next couple of days? (sigh.)

My guess is that some combination of goko / Jay / DXV need to approve such a release.  My guesses are that the chances of that approval if it was fully up to each party would be 0% / 25% / 50%.

having dark ages at release was supposed to be a big feature of goko. isotropic having it as well, especially with some of goko's problems thus far, would pull users (especially this community!) away towards isotropic. and goko really needs that solid user base, especially early on, to attract more people.  people paying for a product will want to see lots of other players in the lobbies.

I have no doubt that they would've if they could've.
