Oh hey it's been a while but here we go again

And of course, everyone's favorite scene in the movie:

...

Okay, I didn't catch that Maintenance Worker was a real card until I read Conflicted Force Wielder. Then I realized that Conflicted Force Wielder looked very much like City Quarter, and it was only a small step from there to realize that Maintenance Worker was actually Engineer...

That is indeed the point. ;)  Also maybe don't quote all of the images in a new post?

Sorry, I only meant to quote the first two. Changed my post.

These hurt my brain.

How so?

It takes me a really long time to solve the puzzle.  All the style changes and then having to read and translate.  It should be easy, but it's weirdly slow.

There's Remake on the board. Lots of Remodel variants/trash which cares about card being trashed lend themselves to keeping Estate in hand.

Also, there's Crossroads in the kingdom, which along with Sheperd would be another reason to keep Estate for milling towards something better than Copper.

From just looking at the image, I can't tell if Coin of the Realm is on the tavern mat or not.

I think you give the AI too much credit.  IIRC I didn't buy Remake, I think I just went for Envoy-COTR + Palace VP.

I guess it's possible to play Envoy on Turn 3 and then play it again on Turn 4 with Remake in hand and COTR on the mat, but that didn't happen.  It's possible that the AI was responding to those things being on the board, but didn't track who had them (which would get really murky with Masquerade, if present)

Catapult emulates this by giving them a Curse.

It's sort of Monty Python, really.

*CRASH*
"Bloody 'ell!"
"Do you surrender now?"
"There's fine Silver in here!"
"Surrender now, or else......  What? .....Really?"
"Yeah! 99.9% pure, I'd say!  Good stuff!"
"Get out of here!"
"Yeah!  Thanks a lot, mate!"
"But...  No!  Can... Can we have it back?"
"I don't think so, mate, but do send more if ya can!"

I'm 90% sure that's not how that works, but then I'm 70% sure that's the joke.

I don't think it works either, but I still got a chuckle out of it!
