Someone, please explain this.

The top part is Tormentor. The bottom part is Obelisk.
Obelisk the Tormentor is a Level 10 Yu-Gi-Oh-Card, one of the god cards http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Obelisk_the_Tormentor

Thank you. :)

Remember this?

No. What's that funny mansion on the estate card? And the pile of coins does not belong on the Silver card either.

Feel old yet?

Old? me?

I noticed that Druid was ranked low on the Reddit community rankings for Nocturne cards collected by AdamH. Druid's power level can shift a lot though.

I lacked the creative Google-Fu to find a series of images showing someone get progressively stronger, so here are Pokémon instead!

I will get chastised for putting The Sun's Gift ahead of The Earth's Gift, but seriously The Sun's Gift works so well with the Will-o'-Wisps from The Swamp's Gift.

Field's Gift and Earth's Gift should be in the top tier with Flame's Gift.

Field's Gift and Earth's Gift should be in the top tier with Flame's Gift.

That works too. The exercise is to come up with the best combination of Boons for Druid, as well as the worst ones and the middling ones.

here are Pokémon instead!
I'm fairly Pokémon-illiterate. Based on the blooming progress of the thing on the thing's back—and my sense of Boon power levels—I assume you start top left, then go top right, bottom left, bottom right?

Same situation for me. I don’t understand why one dimensional data is being shown in a 2-D quadrant chart.

I would have made it vertical, but this way was more space efficient. Also, there are 12 boons, and dividing by 3 gives you 4, so I wanted four parts.

As another pokemon illiterate person, may I just add that whatever that flower frog thing is, it gets progressively uglier as it grows.  I like the small one better.  It's kinda cute.

That sums up pretty a lot of the Pokemon evolutions, especially starter Pokemon (i.e. the ones you can choose when you start the game). The base form is quite cute, and then it grows up into something that I guess is meant to look badass.

And yes, it does go top left (Bulbasaur), top right (Ivysaur), bottom left (Venusaur), bottom right (Mega Venusaur). Which threw me, because I tend to assume that for things organised by quadrants you read them either clockwise or counterclockwise.

Failing to use a clockwise/counterclockwise order was a screw up on my part. I believe some four panel comics number each panel from 1 to 4 to prevent confusion.

And oh man, some pokemon get really ugly as they evolve. take a look at the Generation 6 starter pokemon (Fenekin, Froakie, Chespin).

Pirates as chaotic-good? Really?

Surely Noble Brigand is the stand-out exemplar for chaotic-good in Dominion?

Help yourself. Feel free to modify the data points or add your own.

Now, if anyone can figure out how to make column A appear as data point labels, that would be ideal.

I think Tunnel is more fun than it is good.  Rebuild is the classic 0 fun 100 power card.  Fishing Village is Neutral Strong, I guess.

I think they were mapped based on what happens to you when your opponent plays them.
