Jesus, man, I can't update anything until the rules get released.
I mean you can, but it might not be very accurate. I'll take anything at this point.

After Rocks, I'll believe anything at this point.  Except for Jack Of All Of The Things Or Whatever.

There's a card that lets you lock yourself out from doing anything again after turn 1.

I hadn't thought about this! I brought up the same thing in regards to Royal Blacksmith, but ended up being mistaken. But Donate really does do it. Of course, with Donate, at least you can choose to keep your 3 Estates, so that you still have a positive score at the end.

Why exactly are we discussing strategy in this thread?

This may be the Homage thread, but it's the dominion STRATEGY forum.

There are boards where all I want is to get to $7 so I can finally start Forging.  Donate is kind of insane.  But if it's there, you might as well use it.

So, what happens if every player Donates their deck?  Does the game ever end?  Or is it like Jumanji and we have to wait 20 years for some kids to find us and play Ambassador on a Copper?

I believe this is a case where the "starve to death" rule applies.

Well, technically deadlock generally describes a situation where A is blocked by B and B is blocked by A. This is more of a A and B are both blocked by C (Debt) situation.

In case you missed it, I previously posted a kingdom of otters.  In celebration of Empires, here's anotter brand new kingdom for you to play!

Of course, Gladiotter is a split pile.  Here's what the winning otter pup receives:

Lots of interesting interactions here.  There's no strong trashing, but Fountain is an incentive to keeping your Copper anyway, and you'll want to gain 3 more.  There's an easy way to do that with IGG.  With all that Copper in your deck, Apottercary+Cottersmith can be huge, and it could be even bigger if you manage to get at Fortune.  Before then, Woodcotter is there for you with +Buy.

With all that Copper floating around, you may find success with a Chariotter Race, especially if you use Graverotter to topdeck something... like maybe some self-trashed Gladiotters?  Graverotter may also find good stuff to pull thanks to Transmotterfy, which may be generally helpful in providing you niche cards like Otterpost on the turns you want them.  And then there's City Quotter... it's potentially huge draw, but can you fit it into your deck?  It's the only +actions on the board, so you'll need it if you're going to play multiple Cottersmiths in one turn.

Finally, here's a bonus:

It's one of my favourites in terms of matching the photo to the original card, but I think swapping it in for any of the others makes for a less interesting kingdom.

I think this calls for a simulation.

Welcome Back, Otter!

I can't believe that's only worth +1.  Fine, I'll dig up an image:

But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.
