Wait, aren't you supposed to Gear your Prince and not vice-versa?  You would fail to discard Gear the other way around... and you can't Prince a Wharf without Highway or something...

You do not fail to discard a Prince of Gear if you never set a cad aside when playing Gear because the Gear has nothing to do for next turn in that case. Same story as when you play Tactician with no other cards in hand.

Wow, I never noticed that Gear had a "may" in it before.  It's good even if you always set aside two.  So good that I didn't notice the "may".

So if you prince a gear, and never set anything aside, it's just prince of moats?

On your turn before last, you might want to save a card or two.  Maybe.

Yeah. Terminal draw for Prince is nice and all; but there's plenty of better targets than Moat/Gear.

It doesn't have a may. It has an "up to 2"; and thus you can also select 0 cards.

Prince of stewards is cool. Prince of necropolis was awesole in a game with no villages and a bunch of great terminals.

I played a game recently where Princing a Chapel would have been decent. Just to remove the Chapel from your deck, that is. There were slightly better options available though, and both players always connected the Princes with the better options so it didn't happen, but I actually think it would have been better to Prince a Chapel over not playing the Prince that shuffle, had it come down to that.

Prince of Squires would be great, and it would have irony points.

Why did you get the prince in the first place? Swindler?

I bought it (two of them, even). It was pretty much like an expensive Lab and an expensive Lab was a fine purchase for $8 at that point in the game since I was ahead and there was no other draw.

That doesn't make the meme any less true.  Also, it's been delayed again or something?  This is a joke thread, but I do realize that you're human and a volunteer and not a wizard.  The wiki is fine work so far.
