http://dominion.diehrstraits.com used to be my go-to place for seeing card images/learning the cards. The "comix" page fits right in with this thread.

http://dominion.diehrstraits.com/comix.php
I still use it to find cards quickly. The full text list is really handy.

Soviet Dominion jokes are back, hey ?
In Soviet Dominion, Chapel trashes you, Treasures earn heroes...
Weren't it a thread for it ? I'm too lazy to find new ones and know I'll never win the respect race

In Soviet Dominion...

...you buy your own Inheritance.
...Beggars give you money.
...Heralds don't know who they're announcing unless a Scout tells them.
...Caravans make less money than their Guards.
...homeless children (Urchins) are more valuable than homeless adults (Vagrants).
...you can Duplicate vast tracts of land, but not trinkets (Diadem).
...Ratcatchers are one of the worst ways to deal with Rats.

How so?  I mean, maybe it's not great, but it should work.

Well, the worst ways to deal with Rats are (pseudo-)trashing without cost-based benefit. Ratcatcher is one of those.

I figure the worst ways would be not trashing at all.

I would argue that not trashing at all is not dealing with them at all. Unless you have sifting I guess, but you can include them in the category of worst ways to deal with Rats.

Native Village.  Island, haha.  And yeah, sifting.  These are all ways to deal that are worse than basic trashing.

All I was trying to say was that Estate inherits you.  But I guess other stuff could happen in Soviet Dominion.

And I'd say it's worse than actually trashing!  Actually trashing Rats isn't that bad even with no benefit.

So we're in agreement?  Ratcatcher isn't so bad?

I mean, he only catches them.  If you want to get rid of them, you better call Ratexterminator instead.
