Hmmm? ConMan has a good joke about witches?
Well I have *a* joke ...

Maybe instead of making a new expansion for Dominion, they could follow the lead of many collectable card games and release "premium" versions of existing cards. Like holographic foils, or alternative art. If they did that with the base game then every time my opponent plays a Witch I could go "Curses - foiled again!"

You traveled very far for this joke, and deserve a +1 for your efforts.

I can't figure out how to use the new Quickmeme, so here is a Bad Dominion Advice Advisor:

Don't Butcher Your Squire

Into a Feast and a Familiar.

But... that's good advice?  I mean, wouldn't it be better to Butcher the Squire into Familiar, a new Squire, and 2 coin tokens?

Quickmeme has been prompting me to login through facebook, which I am not willing to do.

Yeah. I just thought of how to make this better. But, Quickmeme now seems to suck (it won't let me make an image without logging in with Facebook??), so here's the image from Memegenerator:

Haha, I dislike Mine/Mint joke because I don't understand how people can confuse these two cards.
Farmland and fairgrounds are so much more confusing.

However, I really enjoy jokes about mine - yours.

I currently imagine mail-mi wearing a dark trenchcoat and a bowler hat, hunched over a bit, toothpick in his mouth, holding a gun in his pocket.  One bead of sweat trickling down his nose.

I'm pretty sure the bitching about Mine/Mint jokes is a lot more prevalent than the jokes themselves at this point.

It was a lot easier to mix them up on iso when all you had was the name and a shitty little thumbnail.  Another point for Goko!

The first one was Iso going down.

I guess they are assigning this points with something too complicated to put into a formula?

Iso going down is probably the single most annoying thing about Goko.

It's a meta-gag, then, like explaining jokes. Isn't it hilarious? :D

Aren't the Mine/Mint jokes already meta-jokes?  They are mocking the ancient dominion meme of confusing Mine and Mint on Iso.

I think it was much worse with Androminion on a phone.  I could play four or five turns before I realized what I bought.

I don't get it.

Let me explain it, then:
Beginning some time ago, people started making lengthy, boring explanations for gags they did whenever somebody didn't get the original joke. Those explanations were soon considered some kind of meta-joke, that is, a joke about a joke. Consider overly-lengthy jokes, a Seth MacFarlane specialty, where a scene is stretched so much that it's not funny anymore, and this scene gets stretched even more so that some consider it becoming funny again. Explaining jokes work on the same premise that doing something that is inherently un-funny becomes fun if people know it's supposed to be funny. In this concrete case, the meta gag is that some people might consider it superfluous and unfunny to repeatedly critizise the use of a gag that they feel isn't done as much as the act of critizising it. Under the meta-gag premise, this kind of overdoing something unfunny to a gag becomes a gag again. As - if you don't consider Mine/Mint jokes annoying - it works on the same premise as explanation jokes, this makes Anti-Mine/mint-jokes-complaints a meta-joke of their own.

My claim that such meta jokes were hilarious is itself a joke, by the way. Shall i explain it?

I think the joke explanations can stop when someone constructs the unexplainable joke edge case.
