(Great.  Then I'll need only 8 of them to activate my Cities.)

I think this is my new favorite meme in the thread.

I think this is my new favorite meme in the thread.

It works so much better because his bafflement is totally justified, and he still loses.

For this game:

Is it a given that Death Cart/Silver/Silver is better than Death Cart/Ruins/Ruins? I mean, without the Ruins it will be harder to use the Death Cart.

If you're going for a Trader deck you are mostly going for BM or slog and then the conneting of Ruins+DC will be quite unlikely. And then you have basically 4$ more in your deck. If you manage to hit one ruin, you keep your DC one more time, but you have still less Silver. Maybe it's worth the risk, but mehh.. (Maybe it's a Feodum game  :) )

Either way, the main point is that a Trader gain 2 Silvers when hitting Estate. With DC, it does even when you have no estates with Trader in hand.

Ah yes, I missed the part of the joke where Trader with 4 Coppers is normally an unlucky hand.

I think the question here is "Is it a given that Death Cart/Silver/Silver is better than Silver/Silver/Silver?".

I don't think so, especially, as with Trader/Estate/3 Coppers in hand the Estate is trashed.

But the meme was more about this:
Ah yes, I missed the part of the joke where Trader with 4 Coppers is normally an unlucky hand.

But how is the Estate related? I'm just asking whether or not you want to reveal Trader for Death Cart, and I think no, since it's so early in the game and the DC would be just overkill. Unless there's Tournament.

But if you reveal Trader for DC, you don't get the extra ruins (or Silvers), because you haven't gained it.

Ok, you ment this so. I thought you wanted to say, that Trader/Estate/3 Coppers in hand would be better.
But achmed_sender said it: You won't get the Silvers, because you gain no Death Cart.

I make a couple stupid posts every day.  This way, when I have a fever, nothing seems amiss and I don't feel so ashamed.

I don't really understand this. He is actually advising him in the buy-phase in this meme. And it is not you who has the choice of blocking something.
I think it must be "then I can advise your opponent during your buy-phase too", which wouldn't be such a bad advise, providing that your opponent listens to this advisor...

And it is not you who has the choice of blocking something.
Contraband lets your opponent block a card. Advisor lets your opponent block a card, too.
