Herald by itself can't, you need to Throne/King/Procession it. Golem would work too, but Golem can already achieve simultaneous Tacticians.

Well golly.  A herald can let you play two successful tacticians on the same turn.  Now that's something.

Same as the well-known Golem/Tactician/Lab phenomenon (except even harder to set up, I guess?).

Though with Herald in the kingdom, you just need an enormous amount of money to overpay for it to set it up. Probably not worth it, though.

Not in connection with BLB, is it? After all that'd be an 18 point swing.

6 point swing, you don't have to return any Provinces. Success Baby gives his opponent the last Province, ending the game and winning by 1 point.

Playing that Herald when you know you have an Ambassador in your deck, though, that's not bad luck, it's bad play. Like when I played Lookout after Apothecary, and had to trash a Storeroom on turn 9 (duh...)

I was originally going to have him Herald a Remake, but then all you edgecasers would have mentioned Platinum.

Why no Colony?
Because Heralding a Colony isn't anything special.  :P

Alternative joke: Because Colony doesn't cost exactly $1 more than Province.

Even more than a trap or nombo, it's impossible* to trigger MS with Count!

* nothing comes to mind at least - any edge casers care to think of a way?

Trash overgrown estate (or cultist) with count. Draw and discard MS for the gold.

Does this really work? I think you get the Market Square after you have trashed the cards. So you don't have it in hand, when they are trashed.

http://wiki.dominionstrategy.com/index.php/Market_Square#FAQ

Basically, multiple things happen at the same time so you pick the order. The 'card being trashed' state turns on when you trash a card and turns off when you finish resolving all on trash effects. So you trash cultist, draw 3 cards and then resolve other on trash effects including MS discards even if you just drew it.
