Reminds me of a time my opponent was upset that I was unfairly hitting $5 pretty consistently while he wasn't. He had opened something like Lookout/Potion...

I never complain to an opponent about it though, because usually the following dawns on me in time: "ohhhhh... I've not bought a single silver"  :-\

Edit: added additional meme.

Wrong. This is not the case when you've drawn your deck.

But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

Actually, pedantic man to the rescue of the original post here. All he's saying is that it CAN do this in these situations, not that it always will, or that it must. Is this picking incredibly small nits? Yeah, but it's a nitpick of a nitpick.

Is there a pedantic man meme for edge case memes?

Or should it just be a picture of the f.DS logo?

I think the Inception scene is the best we have for that so far. I was kind of hoping there'd be something for "There's an app for that" where you could change "app" to "edge case", but I don't think there is.

"...failed to draw the top card".

That makes the assumption that there was a top card to guess incorrectly
