It's a scene from Dogma IIRC.
He plays the voice of God, which in turn is played by ...Alanis Morissette

Not sure why you need a spoiler for a movie that came out like 15 years ago...

"The Village" is not worth watching.

That's why we use spoiler tags.

Rosebud is the sled.

King Kong dies at the end.

The kid is the evil honcho in the future.

Bella gains telepathy.

He sees dead people.

Gandalf isn't really dead! :o

That is soooo obvious the second you read it...
Edit: Not sure about the movies when you don't know the books. But in the book it is so clear that he is an important and developed character which would be an absolute waste to let die at this point.
Edit2: What nevertheless was not clear at all for me for some pages is that it's really him when he returns.

I think you'll find Gandalf the Grey died, but he comes back as Gandalf the White! Clearly a different person!

So in Twilight, this means Stephanie can't kill off... er...

But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

George RR Martin would like a word.
First, that's 60 years later or so.
Second who died that early before the story even begans? Sansa's wolve? And Ned Stark, ok.
Third, Gandalf is obviously THE powerfull figure in the whole story, and he has done nothing until there. Except remembering how to open the gate to Moria and a fireworks in the shire?

99% sure the books never say he died. they repeatedly use language such as "fell" instead. that tipped it all off to me pretty early.

ex:"'Alas! ' said Aragorn. `Gandalf the Grey fell into shadow. He remained in Moria and did not escape.'"

Also pretty sure at least the hobbitses believed he was dead.

Well, if Istari never really die, I think Disney will buy the license and bring out Ep. IV: The Return of Saruman!

If you read The Hobbit first you wouldn't think Gandalf was really that strong, and you wouldn't put it past tolkien to get rid of the last character from that story after leaving bilbo behind.
