I just got 10 respect for a meta Scout joke in response to a plea for no more meta jokes or Scout jokes. I feel dirty.

When all is said and done... it was all worth it to get my own meme.

And it was a text post in the meme thread.  Feel extra dirty. :P

I believe this is the longest chain of posts in this thread in which no one has posted their own meme.

ENOUGH OF THE SCOUTS AND CAST-IRON SKILLETS!

This post is entirely in jest. I do not mind scout jokes, and I enjoy beating boy scouts over the head with iron skillets. However, on behalf of the majority of people on this thread, I am here to say WE WANT MORE MEMES!

I thought it was funny since we first learned the company was called Funsockets but then the company changed to go by Goko. It's not very funny, but this thread was in desperate need of a meme, and it's the best I had at the time. Now we're analyzing meme's again, man, this thread isn't what it used to be.

(and yes, the redirect is a good idea)

Nah, it's even better with Duchy, it just means the other player is also an insanity wolf.

There's no "Insanity Wolf vs Insanity Wolf" image...

Is Embassy opening insane? It should basically guarantee Gold when played, right?

It's saying opening Embassy to give the opponent who opened Mint a Silver (thereby giving him more than $2 to spend next turn) is insane.

The issue is opening Embassy after I open Mint; that Silver you're giving me means a lot more than it normally would.

It's specifically in response to the opponent's Mint opening. Your opponent just completely screwed his game up by ensuring that he could do nothing at all for a couple turns. By opening Embassy, you save him from his horribleness. It might not quite cost you the game, but it will probably turn a sure victory into a regular contest.

According to the simulators, Mint wins about 28% of the time. That's with Mint always going first, both players always getting 5/2 in that order.

I briefly tried adding in some Copper buy rules, but it only made it worse, and that already went against the spirit of Insanity Wolf so I stopped trying.

Yeah, but what would the sims say about Mint / nothing vs Silver / Silver, instead of vs Embassy / nothing? I'd assume Mint has much less than 28% chance then.

The sim doesn't Insanity-Wolf-play Embassy correctly.
