As a note on my OP... I'd still like to be able to watch other games while in progress, though again, I don't expect it to happen, at least on isotropic. Mainly I'm thinking of the tournament finals here...

Posted a couple more test videos on different qualities. Can you tell a difference between the allfail match and the test vs. will it rain (in which, incidentally, I played dreadfully)? How about between that game and the one against jak4072? I think I can in the first case, not so much in the latter case. And from the test against will it rain against the one with jak4072, the file size per second of video is over tripled. I really can't see that being worth it.
Let me know what you guys think.

I do see a small difference in the latter case, but the will it rain match was plenty quality wise.  The allfail match is still watchable, although blurry with your commentary and getting used to how card names look instead of what they actually say helped a lot.

I have to admit I really found this quite interesting. Watched the HQ games and then the IGG rush. Not much of a difference other than that I got my eyes used to the text format.

Just made a new video. Content is pretty terrible, I was entirely pre-occupied with getting the video quality better, which I did by messing with the screen size partway through. Somewhere between the minute-and-a-half and two minute mark, I got it pretty much finalized, and I think it's probably a lot clearer now. Let me know what you guys think.

Here's a nice little fix for the text problem. Someone on reddit mentioned that you can just zoom in on the text size on your browser before recording. I think that would work.
