Some French Vanilla Cards

What simple cards do you think are left that haven't yet been done? Here's some I have.

Viking Village - $4
+1 Card
+2 Actions
Gain a silver.

Although simple, I think Viking Village is interesting in that the engine that you can make with it gets clogged up with silvers, which can be good if the engine is strong enough to draw your deck, but also has the potential to make your engine very hard to start.

Farmer - $2
+1 Card
+$1
You may play a Farmer from your hand.

This is a simple peddler variant that's good to get in multiples. The variation part makes it worse in engines, and peddlers aren't that good in big money, so it's an interesting decision about when to buy.

Viking Village would probably be used more for a BM strategy as a can trip silver gainer more than it would be used as a village.

I also recall various versions of it appearing in the set design contests without much popularity.

I also feel farmer has been suggested. Or at least versions of it. I suppose it's ok, makes engines stronger if they are present but doesn't necessarily enable them.

viking village used to be an official card, then people complained because getting silver runs contrary to the idea of a village, and then he changed it into spoils and people stopped complaining.

Farmer might be quite powerful if Princed (in which case you would want to spam your deck with Farmers).

This was in the secret history talking about Bandit Camp right?

Hmm, I was thinking of a card that is an Action and basically adds "You may play another card X from your hand" every time you play an Action X (after resolution) as long as it is in play.  So every card gains Cultist's (and Farmer's here) special ability.

I can't think of a non-cumbersome way to word it, though.

+1 Action.

While this is in play, directly after you resolve an Action, you may play a copy of it from your hand.

Okay well that was a lot simpler than I thought.

Think the card would be interesting?

Edit: I was a little hung up with the "after" part. (I see you changed it to "directly after".)  You don't want to Play card A, then play B,C, D, E, and then have A in your hand and play it again.

I think it's worth testing for sure. Probably you want a bigger vanilla bonus. I just put "+1 Action" because that's the bare minimum for making the card work (you shouldn't need a village).

Well, I thought of that, but

+X cards
You may play another [this card] from your hand

is better than

You may play another [this card] from your hand
+X cards

I know it's nagging, but wouldn't that have to be "Action card"? It's interesting, like a Village+ for multiples. Would try it at 2$ and maybe add a buy to have more use from drawing or coin-producing terminals.

Edit: Typo.

I think it's too powerful.

No. Action and Action card in this context are used interchangeably in official cards (except I think it's always Action card when you're gaining it to avoid confusion).

Might very well be, i didn't try it. In my original concept it just gained Silver, which i should probably have left it at. In that variant its name is "Pony",though. You can guess why that is ;)

About "Action", you seem to be right.
