Just saw Gone Girl today. For those who have not seen it, our favorite game makes an appearance in that film!

I just watched the new David Fincher movie Gone Girl which is another excellent movie from him. Go see it.

Also it has a little Easter Egg in it. Both Dominion and Race for the Galaxy are depicted in the movie. I was really surprised seeing those games prominently in the middle of the screen.

Perhaps David Fincher is a fan of Dominion.

More importantly, by my calculations this means that Dominion now has a Kevin Bacon number of 2, thanks to Neil Patrick Harris!

The number is lower.  Have you ever looked closely at Moneylender?

Saw Gone Girl this weekend - *great* movie.  However, the board games show up as part of a hoard of what are supposed to be ridiculously luxurious or expensive items.  So you have HUGE FLAT SCREEN TV and ROBOT DOG and SUPER SPECIAL GOLF CLUBS and then Dominion.  I honestly burst out laughing.

What is perhaps funniest of all is that Dominion is placed front and center and not off to the side as if the display is built around Dominion rather than Dominion being another random item.

Not to mention its spouse, Race for the Galaxy.

Ozle never did reveal his identity....if Ozle is David Fincher then the person who posted that revealed his identity, not Ozle.
Statement remains intact.

Hang on ....IM OZLE! Who is this Fincher guy impersonating me?!
Where's my lawyer...oh right yeah, he is suing me for making him take on embarrassing cases.....

Well if you obtain all the expansions to either of those games it's a little bit expensive, and understandably it'd be harder to put all expansions on screen so it can kinda be implied.  (I haven't seen the movie because it sounds too traumatizing for me)

Yep. I can see the art for Witch, Coppersmith and King's Court respectively on the boxes.
