Me me me!

But as per usual, I'll give up my spot to a new player.

Heh, heh, heh. So much possible pain. Then again, Matriarch is painful, and we walked all over her.

I'll subscribe to this. I'd be up for playing, but I've played in #2 and #3, so priority absolutely should go to new players and/or ADK. He deserves to play.

I would offer to mod, but my time is a bit limited on here, so I can't mod as well as I used to in previous games.

Also, if anyone wants to play a particular hero I'd probably let them, otherwise I'll just roll five.

Absolute Zero, Bunker, Visionary, Expatriette, KNYFE, and the environment is The Block.

If no one expresses preference I'll just assign them randomly.

The one time I beat Iron Legacy, we had Visionary. It was surprising.

And I say *I* beat Iron Legacy. In actuality, I had Ra, and I was curbstomped by round 2 and staring at my B side the rest of the game.

I'm perfectly happy with random.

If we do end up choosing, I have a slight preference for Absolute Zero.

Also in the Heroes spreadsheets for some reason the deck sheets, column K formula has L$4:L$35 and it should be L$4:L$23 for everyone but the Sentinels.  That's causing all of the decks to glitch out with the circular reference.

Also all your Villain sheets (except Matriarch) are missing the line for Statuses...(I totally forgot to add that in when first making the sheets, but at least for Villains it's pretty easy to add).

I think the formula thing was from a find-replace that I screwed up.

I gave theorel and Dsell their preferences and then randomized everyone else.

ADK- Bunker
DSell- Expatriette
theorel- Absolute Zero
Kuildeous- KNYFE
ghostofmars- The Visionary

What order should we put them in? Visionary might make sense to go first so that she can help the other players set up their turns.

yeah, I'm not seeing much need for any other ordering.
The most important bit looks like Visionary before KNYFE to get best use out of "Wrecking Uppercut".  Other general Visionary helps are good, so Visionary first seems reasonable to me.

A lot of the strength of IL seems to come from his ongoing cards. He starts with 5 of them, so it might be a good idea to put heroes that can destroy ongoing cards first. I would ranked the heroes from most to least capable of destroying ongoing cards:
Visionary (three power cards)
Absolute Zero and Expatriette (two and three one-shots, respectively, but the one-shots of Absolute Zero are stronger)
KNYFE (2 power cards, but they only destroy an ongoing if she kills a target)
Bunker (no possibility to destroy ongoing cards)

Oh and I cannot read parts of the cards in the deck of Visionary, because the text does not wrap.

Does Final Evolution hurt us if it got played during Start of Game?

EDIT: Yeah I think it does. I'll just keep going.

The Freedom League tried to keep its contact with the mysterious organization known as F.I.L.T.E.R. at a minimum. Although the time-policing organization had done a good job at preventing crimes against the time continuum, most members of the League agreed that their less-than-scrupulous methods could not be condoned. But when one of F.I.L.T.E.R.'s chairman sent a message that they had something the League might be interested in, a delegation was sent to their Time-Locked prison, The Block. And so The Visionary, Absolute Zero, Expatriette, KNYFE, and Bunker found themselves being lead through the winding corridors of the infamous prison. The Warden wouldn't tell them what they were here for, only smiled smugly at them.

“You're missed around here, Ms. Huntly,” he said to KNYFE, who only grunted in response. “You really should consider coming back to us.”

Finally, behind several heavily armed stations and giant blast doors, they came to F.I.L.T.E.R.'s prize. The heroes gasped in shock at the sight: their friend and leader, Paul Parsons, aka Legacy, held in suspended animation deep with The Block's bowels.

“Calm yourselves,” said the Warden with a grin. “He's not your Legacy. He comes from another timeline, one our agents were recently force to nullify. However, they managed to bring him back with them. He's an incredible specimen, far advanced in power beyond the Paul Parsons you are familiar with. In his own timeline, he was no mealy-mouthed hero; he ruled the world from on high, as Iron Legacy. We thought the League from your timeline might be interested in... acquiring him.”

“I can see why you quit working for these guys,” Expatriette muttered to KNYFE.

Suddenly, an alarm sounded. The machinery keeping Iron Legacy in stasis began to spark and smoke, and the Heroes rapidly began to ready themselves. “Is that stasis field secure?” cried Absolute Zero.

The Warden looked perturbed, but he waved his hands for the Heroes to lower their weapons. “It must be a minor malfunction,” he said. “There's no chance whatsoever-”

The was an explosion, and a blinding white light. The heroes scrambled to reorient themselves. When the smoke cleared, the chamber was in ruins, the Warden was nowhere to be seen, and a figure stood before them- Iron Legacy, his features set in stony rage. “I will have my revenge,” he whispered.

So Demoralizing Presence was played after Final Evolution, so it's not increasing it's damage. Everyone takes 1 damage, AZ and Bunker take 2.

Start of the Villain turn: IL has more than 20 HP so he does not flip. Iron Legacy regains 5 HP but he's already at full. He plays:

Plays Galvanized!

End of the Villain turn:

Iron Legacy deals each Visionary, KNYFE and Expatriette 5 melee damage (3+1+1) and AZ and Bunker 6, and all heroes deal themselves 1 psychic damage.

Visionary's turn!

Between Visionary, AZ, and Expat, we can take out all of IL's ongoings besides Galvanized, which we can't destroy anyway. That seems pretty great.

Ok, so I think we should aim for a fast game, because IL hasn't got a lot of HP, but can dash out a lot of damage each turn.

IL has 5 destructible ongoing cards and we should take out Vig(2 dmg/card played), AF(healing and armor), FE(healing), DP(increase dmg), SR(redirect of dmg 5+), probably in that order. We could live without getting rid of SR this turn, because nobody has a build-up to the point where they could inflict 5+ damage.

I think, AZ will play Fueled Freeze, destroying 3 of the ongoing cards. That leaves me or Expatriette to destroy the other one.

So I have two options
A) Mental divergence, destroy Vig.
B) Twist the Ether played on IL to reduce the damage he deals every turn.
Thoughts?

On the spreadsheet it says that Visionary, KNYFE, and Expat have taken 7, with AZ and Bunker having taken 9. Is something increasing damage that I'm missing?
AZ and Bunker are Nemeses of IL, so the dmg is increased by 1 in both directions.
