Women's Team lost to Japan in the World Cup a couple years back, which makes this amazing revenge.

On the women's side, the US team is never a dark horse in the World Cup.  (men's is completely different)  Since the Women's World Cup was established in 1991 we have won 3 times, got 3rd place 3 times, and runner-up once.  Not quite a dark horse in international Women's soccer.

That game was amazing though.  My favorite moment was at the second goal.  First goal happens.  Stadium erupts.  Japan gets in their huddle to tell each other it is all right, we can come back.  We go back down.  Get a free kick.  I tell my buddy, "I am going to film this next goal."  And it happens.

bread. yesterday, I took a loaf out of the freezer. it was hilariously hard to cut off slices.
