I'm considering buying a PS4.  This is mainly due to my brother-in-law being a Call of Duty fanatic and wanting me to join his team online.

The Last of Us Remastered. That should be reason enough for you to get a PS4. If you don't allready have a PS3 and the original game.

Watched a trailor...looks cool.  Is it sort of an FPS Walking Dead with a plot?

Kind of. It's third person over the shoulder cover based shooter. But the main thing is the plot. I'm not a huge fan of shooters like this one, but it's still one of my favorite games of late.

Auctioneers love morbid humor.
Why haven't more people upvoted this.

I am ashamed to say that I'm not getting the reference.

Oh wait. Oh. Wow. OK.

Why would you do this? I still don't get it. I mean, I think I don't get it.

I knew about the lunar eclipse last night, but I didn't realize it'd still be happening at 6:45 this morning. So that was cool.

I had only seen a lunar eclipse once, and I stayed up late for it (confession: It was in college so I was awake that late anyway). I didn't bother with all the other lunar eclipses since then.

We got the kids up at 05:40 and watched from about half umbral until a couple minutes into totality; they wouldn't have lasted much longer.

I found some two-dimensional Braille. Someone printed a sign on typical paper and posted it on the wall. It has the dots for Braille, but it's completely flat.

I feel like I should be outraged, but I'm overcome by the absurdity of it.

Auks never hear anything nice about them, so they've grown to shun their ears.

Aw, why didn't someone mention this in advance? I did not know but would have gotten up early.

"morbid humor" sounds like "more bid, who more", and an auctioneer would like people bidding more.

I want to write a strategy article, but I don't know about which card. If I make a thread asking people to decide, does that come across as arrogant? I kind of fear that it does.

I don't think so.  I mean, there are lots of cards without articles (or cards with really old articles) that can definitely be done.  I think you should make a poll between like 5 or so cards that you would consider writing about and see which one the community wants to see written.  I don't think writing articles is a matter of skill level, but more of desire to put the thought and effort into that card.  Because rest assured, we will analyze your article and find ALL the mistakes.

Man. I had four strips of bacon yesterday. Was one automatically undercooked, one automatically overcooked? No, let's put a stop to that right here, all four strips were excellent.

Î would be fine with almost all cards though, I actually made a list of cards I wouldn't want to write, and it's pretty short.

It's interesting that you think it's not a question of skill, I think it probably is. at least part of it.

well I could probably pick a bunch of cards that I like. A poll with almost all cards would look really weird.

Take list of all cards.  Remove cards you don't want to write.  Remove cards that already have articles.  Add back those cards where you think the articles are outdated, or could be improved a lot, or you just have a lot to add.  Then select your favourites from that list and put those in the poll.

the idea is not bad, except I have to read over 200 articles to see which ones are outdated. that's kind of exactly what I wanted to avoid by asking people.

also, I have the feeling that if I do something like that, people would inevitably just vote for Prince anyway. Maybe I should just do prince?
