Julia Stiles or Yvonne Strahovski?

I think I was partial to the latter.

Lumen was an interesting character. I'm a season 5 apologist and I will fight for it to be recognized as an interesting season with a terrible finale !

And the answer depends : in terms of hotness, Yvonne Strahovski. For acting ability, Julia Stihles.

So... Smash Bros!

Personally I'm waiting for the Wii U version. Although if it's not being released until February or something, I might change my mind. And sadly I'm slowly beginning to suspect that (announcing a December release date in mid October seems a little late, when we've known the SSB3DS release date for like 4 months or something).

But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

Haven't they said, like... Holidays? Wouldn't it be SUPER bad not to have it available for christmas?

The 3DS version is very enjoyable. Me, luliin and a couple of friends got together yesterday to play some, and we intend to continue today and tomorrow. And probably everytime we meet for as long as we have 3DS. But being a Smash Bros game, I'm not that surprised.

They said Winter 2014 for the Wii U version, and Summer 2014 for the 3DS version. The 3DS version came out in September, which is technically still summer but is late Q3, so buisness wise it's more what they'd call Autumn.

I expect that if the game were/is very close to finished they'd rush for a Christmas release, which is why I said February. I think a January release is very unlikely, since it'd just get rushed through.

How do the controls on 3DS compare to console? I've never played it on my own time so I always just ended up button smashing with friends. I'm seriously considering getting the 3DS version just so I don't embarrass myself in the future.

I keep on attacking instead of jumping on accident on the 3DS, so I have no idea.

I want a 3DS for Ocarina of Time. I just realized how nerdy that sounded taking into account I already have OoT on N64.

The 3D is nice. Also, the graphics are updated with better textures. Most importantly, it includes the 2nd quest, although unfortunately you have to beat the game normally first to unlock it.

13 was our lucky number last night at Factory of Terror in Canton, OH. It always helps to bring a few "scaredy cat" types as well.

Often, it is exactly as strong as Hermit/Market Square would be if it was in the kingdom (you have to go for it or you lose).

man, it's better. for some reason hermit/MS gets more attention, but apprentice/MS is the stronger combo. and for some reason this sentence bothers me.

In my opinion, the reason Hermit/MS gets attention is that it's a tricky combo to pull off. First you need to hit particular numbers of every card that is in your deck. Then you must patiently wait until the appropriate time to fire the combo, because once the Madmen are gone you can't combo off anymore.

Apprentice/MS on the other hand is straightforward, unless there is some subtlety that I'm missing. Buy Apprentices, buy Market Squares, trash Golds, win.

The question is, 1. who wins in a head to head matchup? It seems to me that Hermit/MS would win. Maybe (probably) a mix is better than both. 2. who wins more often against other strong strategies?

It seems to me that Hermit/MS is more resilient to junking, but less resilient to discard attacks. Apprentice/MS, OTOH, is more able to incorporate other powerful stuff (like Goons, Bridge, KC, Possession), so its not a strategy but a combo that can run different strategies. Also, App/MS can use support a lot, while most cards do not help Hermit/MS too much.

In a kingdom with only hermit, market square, and apprentice, I would ignore apprentice. If there are 7 other cards, more often than not I still ignore apprentice, but not always.

Hey, I actually did semi-okay in a programming competition! Not super good, just barely into ~top third of participants at my school, but that was good enough to win a duffel bag with Google's logo on it.

When was this? It is possible that I wrote the problems.
