That's such an obnoxious and pretentious attitude to think that people would just want to have your music without actively pursuing it.

I don't get that. It's a free album. It's called advertising. If you don't like it, no one's making you listen to it.

I really don't get the controversy around this. I don't think the obnoxiousness/pretensiousness is on the side you think it is.

No, but they are (hypothetically) making me go have to delete the music to prevent having to listen to it.

Sort of like McDonald's putting a happy meal in my fridge.

That's because people have a misguided sense of privacy. iTunes is not the same as your fridge, not even close. iTunes is not something you own (nor is Spotify or whatever else).

Man, when people complain about stuff, they don't want to having flaws in their underlying assumptions pointed out to them.  That's like Complaining 101.

All I'm really trying to say is that U2's song sucked. And I don't like iTunes.

iTunes is not the same as my fridge?

That explains why the milk spoiled...and my mp3s are cold

I don't like iTunes either (I'm meh on U2, haven't actually heard the new album), I was just surprised by the response to the free album thing.

I don't like when people complain, I often do this and annoy people, sorry. This is why I tend to avoid RSP forums ^^

This sounds suspiciously like a complaint!

I stared at this for a while wondering why you would post it. Looked away for a few seconds and when I looked back was so confused.

Why is it so fucking difficult for people to dismiss information that is clearly and demonstrably untrue?

It's probably a result of vaccines.  Those things are dangerous.

On the topic of headdesk, I played a great board game recently that I think some of the hard core strategy gamers here might like.

The board1 had different areas marked off,2 each labeled with a different challenge.3 Play consisted of advancing into an area4 and attempting to meet the challenge3 there or refusing and instead entering a war of attrition5 whose length was determined by the time until another player refused a challenge.6

1. Ok, well really it was a paper grocery bag
2. Literally, with marker
3. Dare
4. Flipping a quarter onto the board1
5. Placing one's face on the table. "Tableface"
6. You tableface until someone else has to tableface

Joking aside, it was actually pretty entertaining. Amusing dares included "lick mustard off of someone's back" and "eat compost"

So is it normal that I have been doing my homework until past midnight every day this week or am I doing something wrong.

Note: I start my homework essentially as soon as I get home from cross country practice.

Depends on what level of education you're at, and when you get home, as well as how hard you're working. I had a friend who started a PGCE (teacher training) course and had a problem like that, and was eventually diagnosed with Dyslexia, so it might have a cause.

But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

Are the rest of your cross country teammates having the same trouble?

Also I assume this is high school?  Six hours a night would be pretty excessive... but if other people aren't spending that long, then we have to consider poor study habits or, as Tables says, undiagnosed learning disability.

Sounds normal enough if it's just this week and not something that constantly happens.

My healthy breakfast today:

Blueberries, raspberries, sliced almonds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seed, blueberry kefir.

I think that means I win, right?
