I just realized that the browser tab icon for Dominion Strategy is actually a Gold.  :o

Man, you guys make me Google stuff myself.

Nexus 6 is 6", while Galaxy Note 4 is 5.7".  I have the Note 4.  I could go for an even bigger screen.  I have big fingers.  Note 4 does have a few more pixels per inch though.

This is the first I've heard of the Nexus 6, though.  I didn't think there was anything competing with Note 4 in terms of phone/tablet hybrids.  (I don't count Apple products.)

I love it because it has no bloatware from the manufacturer or the carrier. The screen on this guy looks great, and I can reach the corners with one hand without too much trouble.

I need to get a new phone. Are you considering rooting it?

No I'm not. My understanding is that it's somewhat less necessary/useful the Nexus phones, but I've never rooted a device so I'm not really the person to discuss the pros and cons.

Thanks, Spotify, for making me feel good with the soundtrack from Tommy. While I do enjoy the original Who album and even the movie soundtrack, the original cast recording of the show is such a fuller sound, and I love rocking out to it.

But Spotify has some weird algorithms. When I try to create a radio station from the soundtracks of Tommy or Spring Awakening, I keep getting things like Barbara Streisand. Not so interested in that.

You mean listening to the Tommy soundtrack doesn't make you want to hear the Yentl soundtrack?

Pandora has some weirdness too.  My first foray was to create an Elton John station.  It started with an Elton tune, then didn't play another one for 4 hours.

On another try, it didn't take long for Emerson, Lake, and Palmer to morph into Stevie Ray Vaughan, via Yes and King Crimson.  I love all those bands, but I don't get the progression (pun intended).

Am I the only one who thought Elmo was female as a kid?

I'm curious what makes you think Elmo had a sex change.

That was just me exploiting the ambiguity present in my original post. I'm interested that people thought I was actually being serious.

This is the best bug that ever happened in my whole dominion program (what happened when I played a Possession as player 1 and the turn ended):

Code: [Select]
Player 1 will now take an extraturn that Player 0 will control.
Player 2, it is now your turn.

Inheritance is probably my favorite event. One of the many fun aspects of it is mixing the word estate with the inherited card. When I friend inherited Wandering Minstrel, before I knew what I was saying, I called it a Wandering Minstrate. So I got laughed at (which was what I deserved...).

I called it a Wandering Minstrate.

When is a period not a full stop?

When it's a Wandering Minstrate.

I'm sure that joke won't catch on in the mainstream, but for a brief moment, it was applicable.

I've moved recently, and I am seeing all these brown and black birds, with blue and green iridiscent spots on their back, orange beak, slightly smaller than a pigeon. They are quite common, but when I ask people about them, they have no idea what they are. I am assuming they must be some sort of migratory bird, because otherwise I would expect someone to know. It's driving me crazy.

I suggest not staying in front of places where they can gather without looking behind you for an extended period of time. Those birds are sneaky bastards.

I was asking pacovf because it could help with identifying the birds.
