If you guys had used ≥ instead of >, we would have been able to prove that Math = Science, thus ending the debate about whether or not Math is a Science!

But I guess that didn't happen.

Let's move this discussion over to the math(s) thread. It is statistically unlikely that there's so much advanced math in this thread.

Amazon has a special currently, 30% of any physical book.  Turns out it it literally one time use, so keep that in mind.

I finally bought the Mistborn Trilogy, given it was on sale for 15 bucks, then took the 30% off that.

I currently imagine mail-mi wearing a dark trenchcoat and a bowler hat, hunched over a bit, toothpick in his mouth, holding a gun in his pocket.  One bead of sweat trickling down his nose.

'And what is it that ye shall hope for? Behold I say unto you that ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of his resurrection, to be raised unto life eternal, and this because of your faith in him according to the promise." - Moroni 7:41, the Book of Mormon

Science > Math

But how can Science be better than itself?

He forgot to add a constant.

Science + Bacon > Math

Universally true.

What I miss? More marriages, religious arguments, goko bashing and millions of Danish mafia games?

Is there a new release for Dominion yet?

(Edit: that was supposed to say Sameish, but autocorrect changed it, I think I'm going to leave it, damn Danes! I can never forgive them for the death of my boy!)

Other tangent:

Today I saw a presentation where Timchen's avatar appeared. So now I know what his avatar actually represents.

Now I only need to know what witherweaver's avatar represents, and I will understand all graph-like avatars in this forum.

if only I had bought the new adapter sooner instead of waiting until juggling the cable doesn't fix it anymore. Now I have to live with this horrible graphic bug for two days.

I'm sad that my Risk Legacy game isn't seeing any more play.

Yeah, I know, it's Risk, and fuck that noise. I get it. But Legacy is such a fun way to play Risk. For one, the game is shortened so you can win without global conquest. For another, you can watch the world change. I enjoy that part. I like that the Ukraine is a radioactive wasteland. I like that Central America is not a chokepoint anymore because it's hard to set up a defense there. I like that I get a bonus if I control Europe and that players keep me from controlling Europe.

I think Legacy games are a neat idea, and I will probably buy Pandemic Legacy. It has the benefit of not being Risk, so I might see more play in my group. Still, I can't believe I have a hard time finding players for a game that evolves like that, even with Risk. Hell, because it's Risk. One of the most notorious classic board games, and it gets warped.

Oh well, it sits on my shelf for now. It's probably about halfway through. I haven't even tried opening the packet that warns you not to open the packet.
