I always imagined the middle guy in the Goons art not as one of the goons himself, but rather the target of the goons' hasslin'. He just looks to me more nervous and less sinister than the other two. It's like these two goons just walk up to him on either side out of nowhere, all faux buddy-buddy, like "Hey, you're going to have that payment ready right? The Boss appreciates punctuality. It would be a shame if an...accident...were to happen."
Is this a valid interpretation??
