Currently, no one is able to play Dominion Online.  Goko are not capable of delivering an online version of Dominion

I'm not alone in wanting Goko to go.

goko is already gone, and a completely new team is working on the game now. according to them, the code is so bad that they can't fix its, therefore they're rewriting the entire thing.

More accurately, Goko wrote a very, very general game engine/platform, which is purported to actually be good. They then implemented Dominion on top of it - but the engine was so general that the Dominion implementation was not at all simple and turned into a complete mess.

The new company is writing just Dominion, instead of the game engine, so that it can be optimized for actually playing Dominion.

The first part isn't something I'd come across before.  Do you have a link? 

I'd be reluctant to accept that argument, as being easy to build games on top of ought to be one of the important criteria for judging a general gaming platform.

it also seems to have problems handling resigns now. i just played a match against KingZong, and I resigned and it froze, forcing us to DC, then I played a match against another guy and he resigned and the game froze. I waited for like 3 min, then i tabbed out and came back after >1 hour, then it was on the end screen and i won.

Really? because after you left it said you had resienged and I won.

yea and i had a third game with gherald, where he resigned and the same thing happened
