Donald X's history with effects that kept bad cards out of your shuffle (mostly called Wall) were all duds. I'm guessing this isn't going to be received any better. It's just not an exciting effect for most players, I think.

Islanding away a card on-gain sounds like a nice effect. Maybe too strong on a $5 Peddler though.

For what it's worth, Floodgate was my attempt at this kind of effect. If you gain it just before your shuffle, it basically does what these cards do.

that's not true, floodgate moves these cads to your hand. it can help with terminal collision.

but I didn't find any card in the outtakes that was similar to this one. there is stuff like "look through your discard pile, shuffle all but 5 cards into your deck", but that's bad for completely different reasons. and really, a lot of the cards in the outtakes are really bad. I'm not sure how good of a reference point it is.

also, peddler wants small decks, so the card itself gives you a reason why you want to have the effect, you don't get that if you do it on a victory card
