I open crossroads ambassador with 2/5. On turn 3, I buy a second ambassador. On turn 4, I play an ambassador, returning a curse to the supply. I then proceed to play at least one ambassador every turn for the rest of the game. On all but 2 turns, I return at least one curse to the supply. At the end of the game, I still have 3 curses.

This doesn't seem to come close to Chogg's, but here's a game where my opponent had an incredible comeback in a game I was sure I'd won:

http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20111211-152330-bd4271ac.html

Mostly because on turn 17, he managed to King's Court a Saboteur and hit Gold, Gold, Province. And gave me 3 curses on the same turn.

I never thought I'd read a log with 46 instances of the phrase "gains a Curse."

This is a great game log and it deserves a spot in the "Greatest Isotropic Moments 2011" list.
But I think it is only fun to read and it wasn't that fun to play. Am I right?  ;)

Not all that amazing, but it was a great way to win the cursing race. That, and it happened only a few days ago, so it's the only thing I remember right now.

http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20111208-184652-8888f6da.html

--- Volkmar's turn 7 ---
Volkmar plays a King's Court.
... and plays a Swindler.
... ... getting +$2.
... ... Vikram47 turns up a Copper and trashes it.
... ... replacing Vikram47's Copper with a Curse.
... and plays the Swindler again.
... ... getting +$2.
... ... Vikram47 turns up a Copper and trashes it.
... ... replacing Vikram47's Copper with a Curse.
... and plays the Swindler a third time.
... ... getting +$2.
... ... Vikram47 turns up a Copper and trashes it.
... ... replacing Vikram47's Copper with a Curse.
Volkmar plays 2 Coppers and a Silver.
Volkmar buys a King's Court.
(Volkmar draws: 2 Coppers, an Estate, a Silver, and a Militia.)

Thanks to King's Courted Mints, my opponent got all 12 Platinums. I got none.

I won.

And honestly, I don't think my opponent did anything wrong.

http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20110518-201954-b8af4530.html

I've also managed to win a game where my opponent gobbled up all 10 Peddlers. Thank goodness Workshops and Vineyards were around.

http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20110903-163449-02ad1731.html

Or how about this one, where my opponent got the King's Court + Masquerade strategy going, and whittled me down to almost nothing... but he slipped up at the end, and I managed to break the pin.

http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20110830-192259-df8d6abf.html

(His mistake was at turn 20. His deck contained two King's Courts, a Masquerade, and a Nobles. Mine contained a King's Court, a Masquerade, two Nobles, and a Gold. He trashed a Gold he got from me, and then a Nobles... and then ANOTHER Nobles. He should've kept that last Nobles. He needed it.)

This game I just played is far from great play style, but I found it interesting, at least to me. My opponent played much better than I did, but in the end allowed me to 3 pile an ending and win with 4 points to his 3.

http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201112/12/game-20111212-165740-287795fd.html

I think I need to learn how to play better. :)

EDIT: Apparently I can win -1 to -2, too!

I guess I have pretty boring games. I think the most memorable one is this:

I'd call it the "No Havens Under Any Circumstances" Award:

http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20111209-154053-0fa7b368.html

Quote
   --- Kemps's turn 1 ---
   Kemps plays 2 Coppers.
   Kemps buys a Haven.
   (Kemps draws: 5 Coppers.)

--- MONSTERS's turn 2 ---
MONSTERS does nothing.
(MONSTERS reshuffles.)
(MONSTERS draws: 4 Coppers and an Upgrade.)

...

--- MONSTERS's turn 4 ---
MONSTERS does nothing.
(MONSTERS reshuffles.)
(MONSTERS draws: 2 Coppers, an Estate, an Upgrade, and a Farming Village.)

...

--- MONSTERS's turn 9 ---
MONSTERS plays a Black Market.
... getting +$2.
... drawing a Royal Seal, a Crossroads, and a Great Hall from the Black Market deck.
... playing 4 Coppers.
... MONSTERS buys a Great Hall.
... returning a Royal Seal and a Crossroads to the bottom of the Black Market deck.
MONSTERS buys a Silver.
(MONSTERS reshuffles.)
(MONSTERS draws: a Farming Village, a Great Hall, a Silver, a Worker's Village, and an Upgrade.)

...

This is not meant to be mean to MONSTERS. We discussed his Havenphobia and he expressed a bad history with the card. I just thought it was particularly weird that he chose Great Hall / Silver over Royal Seal or Gold.

This was kind of a silly game, with no one getting up to $6 until like turn 30 thanks to both of us grabbing a ton of ambassadors and pingponging stuff back and forth. It's not often that I'm able to say that if one of us had grabbed bureaucrat, it would've broken the game open. It's also not often that a search for ambassador in a dominion log leads to 217 results.

This game featured a very large number of saboteurs, which was kind of silly. It also features me getting ridiculously lucky in the early game(chapel hits 3E+C, two hands later has 5 coppers which I can use to buy a mint).

If games with large numbers of coppersmiths are still on the table, then I think I can one-up everyone so far here.

Here's a somewhat silly game.

http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20111211-221042-6f732b99.html

I open 5/2. So I think "Hey, I can get an early Minion, then embargo Gold and initiate a Minion engine." So I open Minion/Embargo. Then the Minions get embargoed. Then the Embargoes get embargoed.

And then we both decide we don't care what happens anymore, so we mess around. Some highlights include:
Both of us trying to start Worker's Village/Courtyard engines.
sssss buying a Hoard off a Black Market to circumvent the embargo, causing me to buy a Black Market to see if I can get the Tunnel in there (I have a decent Minion advantage.) Of course I don't get it...but I do get to steal some Hoarded Gold with Noble Brigand :D
Mentions of M.A.D. in the chat
This turn:
Quote
   --- sssss's turn 22 ---
   sssss plays a Worker's Village.
... drawing 1 card and getting +2 actions and +1 buy.
   sssss plays a Worker's Village.
   ... (sssss reshuffles.)
... drawing 1 card and getting +2 actions and +1 buy.
   sssss plays a Worker's Village.
... drawing 1 card and getting +2 actions and +1 buy.
   sssss plays a Salvager.
   ... trashing a Province for +$8 and +1 buy.
sssss plays a Copper, a Hoard, and a Silver.
   sssss buys an Estate.
   ... gaining a Gold.
   sssss buys an Estate.
   ... gaining a Gold.
   sssss buys an Estate.
   ... gaining a Gold.
   sssss buys an Estate.
   ... gaining a Gold.
   sssss buys an Estate.
   ... gaining a Gold.
(sssss draws: a Duchy, a Silver, a Mine, a Copper, and a Gold.)

Here's another from a lot longer ago. Calling it "Silver Overload" until further notice (this was before all the Hinterlands silver cards)
http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20110821-162740-b8ad1c37.html

Turn 13: Down 4 Provinces to 1
Turn 14: Somehow get the first prize. Notice that Gardens is in the game...
I then proceed to play Trusty Steed to gain 4 Silvers every time I can. End result? 18 Silvers, exactly 50 cards in deck, and just enough Gardens to eek out a win. I still can't believe I pulled it off.

Someone should post a good Chancellor-Inn game.  I had one, but I didn't do it justice.  It's an amazing hinterlands goody.

King's Court -> Possession.

In the 3 turns that I stole from my opponent, I bought all 8 colonies to beat him 80 to 1.

That is good to know that forges ignore potion costs, even at level 36 I didn't know that.

I'm kinda new here, so I don't really know if this qualifies, but I thought it was epic anyways!

http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20111202-002626-75779bd4.html

Look at my turn 11. We were both building up in a very similar way, until I snatched the victory before he could really get anywhere, buying the provinces and 8 pawns. The game ends and I win 21-9. The score is not great, but who knows whether I would have won or not if I had kept the game going :P

Trash Platinum to draw more copper? Yes, I will. (turn 14)

I didn't play this game perfectly but my opponent admitted, he was impressed by the way I play coppersmiths.

Getting double-Province turns in Tactician games is nothing out of the ordinary...

I call this the tie to end all ties: http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20111007-174917-ee4f9c5c.html

#1 Robz888: 45 points (3 Provinces, 4 Duchies, 4 Harems, 4 Great Halls, and 3 Estates); 24 turns
         opening: Bazaar / nothing
         [40 cards] 4 Great Halls, 4 Harems, 3 Hoards, 2 Bazaars, 1 Envoy, 1 Moneylender, 2 Coppers, 1 Silver, 12 Golds, 3 Estates, 4 Duchies, 3 Provinces

#1 rakovsky: 45 points (3 Provinces, 4 Duchies, 4 Harems, 4 Great Halls, and 3 Estates); 24 turns
          opening: Bazaar / nothing
          [40 cards] 4 Great Halls, 4 Harems, 3 Hoards, 2 Bazaars, 1 Envoy, 1 Moneylender, 2 Coppers, 1 Silver, 12 Golds, 3 Estates, 4 Duchies, 3 Provinces
Now that's a mirror match.

Epic Treasure Map fail:

http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20110315-091935-d57b233c.html

I went by ad_infinitum at the time.  On Jungbluth's turn 9, he (she?) Possesses me and trashes my Treasure Maps, gaining four Gold.  And, because I was Possessed at the time, the Treasure Maps weren't actually trashed, just discarded; and they conveniently appeared together in my hand again the next time Jungbluth Possessed me two turns later, on Jungluth's turn 11.

The best that can be said for it is that I finally got my Treasure Maps a few turns later.

My greatest Domnion moment on Isotropic came fairly recently, December 6 of this year.  It involved two "SLAM" achievements (20 points in one turn) in the same game, made possible by a turn-12 purchase of six(!) Grand Markets.  The two slams came on my 14th and 17th turns, and my opponent then resigned on his 17th turn.

If anyone has a better example of heavy Tunneling/Gold depletion, please post.

It depends on what you mean by "better." I'll have to go looking for it, but I have a three (or maybe four) player game where we inadvertantly ended the game by piling out the golds because of Warehouse + Tunnell shenannigans. I don't think anyone had more than 12 points that game . . . .
