In the last months i had not time to play Dominion,
but now i am back

Last year there was the Dominion World Cup of the Nations.
I think, it is perfect to have one World Cup each year.

But what is about a Dominion European Cup of the Nations???




Here are my ideas:


A Dominion Team cup with European Teams
I think the Dominion Europea should be the UEFA-Europe
Every nation can take a part with ONE team.

A tournament which 12 teams in 3 groups with 4 teams.
The best 2 teams of each groups are qualifed or the second round: 2 groups per 3 teams
The best two teams of each group are qualifed for the PLAY OFFS

A Dominion European Cup sounds like it could be worth doing. I'm not sure if there are 12 European Countries that will fill a 4 person team, unless they aren't 4-person teams. Ideally, a tournament like this should seek to minimize the amount of substitiues on each team, because subbing isn't all that fun.

A possible issue now is that there is the Dominion League going on these days. It could be trouble for players to schedule matches for both the league and a Tournament. Then again, the format you propose only has each participant playing 4 games in all at most.

I think the league is made very well to run alongside other tournaments. The league is hopefully there for a long time, so stopping all other tournaments because of it would not be good. Neither would stopping the league just because there is another tournament going on.
So I don't think that the league should have any influence on other tournaments at all.

I would like to participate in this too, but I would probably be the only one from Denmark.
