There was the game I countered Gardens with double Bureaucrat, and that worked out, and the game where I didn't pick up a Moneylender because I wanted Gardens for better Duchy/Garden Dancing later but I didn't turn out to need to get any Gardens, and there was the game where I played Lab Lab Lab Mine deck, and that worked out, and the game where I bought tons of Festivals and Militias and I knew it'd be cool because the Festivals would help the Militia collisions.  I lost the game where I tried to be a hipster by ignoring chapel on a witch board, and I lost the game where I tried to play the Festival/Moat deck.  That's how I recall it.

Log search seems to agree with Voltaire. This description doesn't seem to occur in any game

That description matches game 2.

I thought I had won game one, but I guess I lost it.  It was close, so, I guess I got confused.

I wonder how often that happens when no one's watching

I split this discussion off just to keep the results thread clean.

It's perfectly fine to challenge further results in the actual results thread, and then I just move the posts here after it has been settled upon.

Is anyone else concerned that this thread is going to get cluttered really fast? And surely there should be a new results thread for each season.

Hey pops, I didn't get a PM from you or anything about this, seeing it for the first time here. Rest assured I am not the kind of person to put something over on anyone - that would be both wrong, disrespectful to this great community, and just silly (for one game!  :P )

If I had made a mistake, I can assure you it would have been a typo or brain cramp, nothing malicious. I recorded our games as P-V-V-P-P-V. I can pull the logs if you'd like them, I'd started being too lazy to copy the links after Goko wouldn't give them to me during one of my matches with uvafan earlier in the night. So you did in fact win game one, like you thought, but I won game two.

Good luck to everyone this season.  :)

B2-3 Mr Anderson - B2-4 MarkowKette 1.5-3.5 Markowkette wins.

Something is wrong here (1.5 + 3.5 = 5 < 6).

np, mistakes happen.

Hmm in order to move posts from the results thread to this one, I merged both threads and then split them off again.
If anyone knows a more convenient way, please let me know.

"D3-3 (Voltaire) vs. D3-7 (impromptublue):  3.5-2.5 impromptublue wins"

I think that means "D3-3 (Voltaire) vs. D3-7 (impromptublue):  2.5-3.5 "

Many people write "X or Y wins". Here it is usefull because the score is not in good order.
But considering the rules can we say there is a winner?
I think thats more logical to think  X wins 2.5 games, Y wins 3.5 games... and there is no winner!

Whoops, this is a good catch. Yes, impromptublue had the 3.5 games, and what I wrote was unclear! Apologies for that.

Well this is kind of awkward, but I believe that the results were:

D5-7: Soratar: 3
D5-3: rspeer: 3

Here are the logs: 1 2 3 4 5 6

I don't think Soratar is trying to steal a half-point here. I think he's just confused that the League's rule about ties does not mean to ignore Dominion's usual tiebreaker. In Game 2 we had the same number of VP but I took fewer turns.

impromptublue is right.

I had posted the results as 4-2: http://forum.dominionstrategy.com/index.php?topic=11133.msg382909#msg382909

However I seem to have made a mistake in the player codes. Perhaps that contributed to the error transferring to the standings thread.

I'm sorry this was my mistake. now it should be correct again.

rspeer & Soratar has also been settled upon (3-3).

HarryPeteur & arjanb - I removed your match from the rankings for now. Please post again in the results thread if you finished the last two games.

A Drowned Kernel - chs: I think the match between the two of you was just over, although it would be nice if chs can still confirm this by responding to a PM.

So far almost everything gets solved by the players themselves, which is great.

D3-7 (Havilah) beats D3-6 (Voltaire) 3.5 to 2.5 (3-2-1)

This still isn't showing up in the D3 standings and results, btw.

Sorry fixed that now. It didn't help that you got the codes wrong, but I should have detected the error anyway.
