Pearl Diver/ Scying Pool

I played a game where I had a good amount of both Pearl Divers and Scrying pool and lots more actions, few treasures. Other actions were things like festival, wharf, moneylender, trade route.

I was wondering if you drew a hand with both P.D. and S.P. what would you play first? the PD to see if your other good actions are on the bottom? Or play your SP until you draw a non-action and then hope your PD draws another SP?

Any thoughts.

Normally Pearl Diver, and only bring the card to the top if it's an Action. I accept there may be situations where this isn't the best approach.

Centuries later, archaeologists discover the remains of your ancient civilization.

Evidence of thriving towns, Pottery, roads, and a centralized government amaze the startled scientists.

Finally, they come upon a stone tablet, which contains but one mysterious phrase!

'ISOTROPIC WILL RETURN!'

I would think you might actually want to bring junk cards to the top so you can discard them with scrying pool.

Depends on how many pearl divers I guess.  Scrying pool could get one bad card out of the way.  Many pearl divers could either fail miserably or stack nicely.
