So, uh, hate to Graverobber, but any plans to finish this article, LF?

Actually, yes. I have been planning to get back to this. I'll try to work on it tomorrow.

This thread really isn't about the butcher any more is it.  might need to be pared/merged.

This is pretty common on f.ds.

Shouldn't there be some discussion of butcher with other trashing? Butcher with moneylender/spice merchant looks strong, but how do you approach it? That kind of thing...

Point iguana. Not that points really matter with a result, but still.

If you have a 4/3 opening, buy Moneylender/Spice Merchant first. If you have a 5/2 opening, buy Butcher first. Later use Butcher to trash the Copper-trasher. This ain't rocket science!

I could see mentioning that since Butcher is a pretty poor Copper trasher, it combos with good Copper trashers. But I mean to keep this article short and readable.

Maybe not, but when I read this post I went, "hey, that's a pretty good idea!"

Good article, and good discussion on all sides. Also, holy cow, it hadn't registered how old Guilds is. It still feels "new" to me.
